The School Building Committee has voted on their preferred design for advancing to Schematic Design and unanimously selected the "Bloom" option. With regards to the Field House, they have unanimously voted on the "Add/Reno" option. They voted against reserving space for a possible future Field House in the site plan.

FWIW I attended the Rec Com meeting this morning. I was/am waiting for Melissa to confirm but the sentiment was to recommend not reserving space, but I am not sure if I got distracted and missed a vote or it was a sense of the meeting sort of thing. 

 

One reason was interesting, and at least two held it, is they do not want a large fieldhouse at all ever as it just has a too large footprint, is too massive, detracts from the use and feel of the land as a "park".
