How to use the New TMMA List on Groups.io

We are sending this email to both the new TMMALex listserv on Groups.io and to the TMMA Google Group that it is replacing.  If you did not also receive a copy from the new Groups.io listserv, then there might be an error that we need to correct.
Please reply to this email if you did not receive a copy from Groups.io.

 

Fellow TMMA members,

The email addresses of all TMMA List members have now been added to our new listserv on Groups.io .

The Switch-Over
Our old Google Groups listserv will remain live until Friday, December 6, to allow any current threads to finish up. After December 6, the posting function will be disabled and our Google Groups TMMA List will be available as an archive for as long as Google allows it. 

Our new Groups.io platform allows us to set up sub-groups under the umbrella name of TMMALex. Bob is working on setting up sub-groups for individual precincts and we will use this feature for any other useful subgroups as needed.

Two Ways to Post
As with the old Google Groups list, there are two ways to post on the new Groups.io platform:

• Using Email: To start a new thread, send your email to the new TMMA List email address: TMMA...@TMMALex.groups.io   To respond to a posting, reply as you would to any email that you receive.
• Using the TMMA List Groups.io Webpage: Go to https://tmmalex.groups.io/g/TMMAList  To start a new thread, select New Topic from the menu on the left. To respond to a posting, find it on the list of emails, open it, and reply.

How to Adjust your Account Settings:

Visit the TMMA List Groups.io webpage  https://tmmalex.groups.io/g/TMMAList

Select Subscription in the menu on the left side of the page.

·       Select Settings to choose your delivery option (digest, individual, etc)
Select Group Profile and scroll all the way down to the Edit Group Profile button to change your display name and add a photo or a signature if you like.

Vicki and Bob, thanks for handling all this.  "Groups.io" worked well when we were testing it with the Executive Committee members.
