Namaste All,

Please find the notes below for each group and let us know if you have any questions. Also, please ensure that the kids bring in their materials to the class - notebook, textbook (if applicable) and pencil.

There are no classes on 12/22 and 12/29 during the Christmas break, our next session is on January 5'th.

Group Geet - All kids should practice singing Chandan Hai Is Desh Ki Mati.

A few general notes for all students.
  • Be ready with the books in order to better utilize the class time.
  • Complete any homework assigned in the class in a timely manner.
  • Reach out to your teacher if you have any difficulties with the content or your schedules. 
Slokas

Agasthya
  • Revised Sloka Sheet until Gayathri Mantra
  • Homework: Kids should practice and memorize slokas by listening to the recording every day during the holidays. Retest on sloka sheet 1 next class.
Vishwamitra
Vashista
  • Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam Stotram - till 22.
  • Kids are encouraged to recite from memory in the next class.
Kashyapa
  • Revised Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam stotram from 20 to 25
  • Tested for Shivashtakam from memory - Retest for few in New Year next week without book.
  • Homework Kids to send the recording for Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam stotram Dhyanam + Stotram(1 to 15). Teacher shared a recording for Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam stotram (1 to 30) for reference.
Yagnavalkya & Shaunaka
  • Finished Shivashtakam and Lingashtakam tests. 
  • Started Ganesha Pancharathnamala
Language

Hindi (older students)
  • The group learnt how to say various body parts in Hindi and also write in Hindi
Hindi (younger students)
  • The group looked at the Indian currency, the Rupiah - They got the 10 rupee bills. 
  • They learnt counting in 10’s to a hundred. 
  • Kids also observed that all the notes have Gandhiji
Sanskritam
  • Sentences with today, now and forever. 
  • Homework: Practice the alphabet at least 20 times over holidays
Telugu 
  • Counting from 0-20, then afterwards in 10's and then special words ("noota" for numbers in the range of 101 - 199, special numbers 116 and 1116 and finally 1000)
  • More verb forms with sample root words and exercises.
