Please find the notes below for each group and let us know if you have any questions. 

Couple of notes specific to this session and next

• As part of mandal at the start of the class, kids did Surya Namaskara and did an exercise of learning different names of Sun. Then they repeated the names to the teachers and the results were impressive with a lower bound of 5 names and upper bound of 17!
• We plan to start breaking the class into 3 groups from next week and continue with Mahabharata using the books that were distributed at the starting of the year. Please make sure that kids bring their books to the class.

A few general notes for all students.

• Be ready with the books in order to better utilize the class time.
• Complete any homework assigned in the class in a timely manner.
  
• Reach out to your teacher if you have any difficulties with the content or your schedules. 

Slokas

Agasthya

• Completed shloka sheet until Om Sarvesham Swasthir Bhavathu.
• Homework: Kids should practice by listening to the shloka recordings every day.

Vishwamitra

• Kids revised Shiva Aksharamala Stotram upto stanza 6. New kids upto stanza 3.
• Homework: Kids should practice the stotram learned thus far

Vashista

• Tested for slokas 11-30 recital from memory
• Re-take on 12/14. 
• Couple of kids moved on to 31-35 

Yagnavalkya

• Shivanandalahari memory test

Language

Hindi (combined students)

• Letter puzzle together. Studied our coins, currency bills and Hindi calendar.

Telugu 

• Continued with guninthalu.
• Practiced translations of common english sentences into Telugu

Sanskrit 

• Introduction of modes of transportation
