Namaste All,

Happy New Year! Please find the notes below for each group and let us know if you have any questions. Also, please ensure that the kids bring in their materials to the class - notebook, textbook (if applicable) and pencil.

Group Geet - All kids should practice singing Chandan Hai Is Desh Ki Mati.

A few general notes for all students.
  • Be ready with the books in order to better utilize the class time.
  • Complete any homework assigned in the class in a timely manner.
  • Reach out to your teacher if you have any difficulties with the content or your schedules.

  • Revised Slokas from Sheet 2
  • Test on Sloka Sheet 1
Vishwamitra
Vashista
  • Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam Stotram Revision - till 22.
  • Kids are encouraged to recite from memory in the next class.
Kashyapa
  • Revised Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam stotram from 1 to 29
  • Tested for Shivashtakam from memory
  • Homework Kids to send the recording for Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam stotram Dhyanam + Stotram(1 to 15). Teacher shared a recording for Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam stotram (1 to 30) for reference.
Yagnavalkya & Shaunaka
  • Ganesha Pancharatnam - verses 1-4
  • Sivanandalahari - 3 slokas
Language

Hindi (older students)
  • We learned to read and write body parts and colors
Hindi (younger students)
  • We discussed how we had time with family during the holidays and how to address family members - Bhai, Behan and more. 
  • Also we again revised counting by 10’s using the Rupee Bills. 
  • All the kids now know that it is Gandhiji on our bill
Sanskritam
  • Practiced Consonants
  • Simple spoken words with meanings
Telugu 
  • Class 2 and 3 verbs
