Namaste All,

Please find the notes below (including a specific one for parents of Sanskrit kids) for each group and let us know if you have any questions. 

A few general notes for all students.
  • Be ready with the books in order to better utilize the class time.
  • Complete any homework assigned in the class in a timely manner.
  • Reach out to your teacher if you have any difficulties with the content or your schedules. 
Slokas

Agasthya
  • Revised shloka sheet side 2
  • Lingashtakam -  completed until paragraphs 5.
  • Homework: Kids should practice by listening to the shloka recordings and lingashtakam (link shared in their WhatsApp group) every day.
Vishwamitra
  • Shiva Aksharamala Stotram - Kids revised from 1 to 23
  • Homework: Kids to practice the to memorize at least 5 slokas
Vashista
Kashyapa
  • Revised Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam (SLS) from Dhyanam to 105
  • Practised Rama Raksha stotram from Dhyanam to 8
  • Homework: Kids to practice the SLS from Dhyanam to 105, any 50 slokas to recite on there own. 
Yagnavalkya
  • After successfully completing the Shivanandalahari on auspicious Shivaratri, the group is now memorizing. 
  • Also memorized Aditya Hridayam until 10 (out of 32)
Language

Hindi (younger students)
  • Practiced basic conversation, the scenario being two Balvihar kids meeting in the Lexington school in the cafeteria
Hindi (older students)
  • Practiced writing words and numbers
Sanskrit
  • Use of Aat ( To) in sentences. 
  • Special note : All parents should help their children learn the alphabet and matras to prevent them from slowing the class. 
Telugu 
  • Worked on writing guninthaalu
  • Homework: Finish the book until the last 2 pages, which we will go over in the next class 
Curriculum 

Sahyadri
  • Covered the chapters on "The Lac Palace" and "Draupadi Swayamvara" in Mahabharata
Meru
  • Covered the Shakuni story and invitation to the dice game.
Himalaya
  • Pandavas reach Elachakrapuram. 
  • Annual Day research will be shared in the next class
