A few general notes for all students.

• Be ready with the books in order to better utilize the class time.
• Complete any homework assigned in the class in a timely manner.
  
• Reach out to your teacher if you have any difficulties with the content or your schedules. 

Slokas

Agasthya

• Revised shloka sheet side 2 until end of peace prayers section
• Homework: Kids should practice by listening to the shloka recordings every day. Test on all peace prayers next week.

Vishwamitra

• Shiva Aksharamala Stotram - kids revised upto stanza 9 (Ambaravasa Chidambara).
• Homework: Kids should practice the stotram learned thus far

Vashista

• Vishnu Sahasranamam revision 1-35 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATflA6WOy0I

Kashyapa

• Revised Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam (SLS) from Dhyanam to 95
• Started Shri Rama Rakshastotram upto Sloka 4.
  
• Homework: Practice SLS from Dhyanam 50 to 75 daily for 10mins. 

Yagnavalkya

• Shivanandalahari till 81

• Practiced writing workds, vowels and consonants. 
• Taught matras

 

Hindi (younger students)

• Discussed and written in Hindi
• Important day of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. Also discussed Makar Sankranthi. 
• Encouraged them to tell their parents about these events marked in Bharath and all over the world 

Sanskrit

• Maatras and sentences. Kids are doing better in their tests 
• Homework: Finish matras for all consonants

Telugu 

• Working on finishing writing the 'guninthalu' book.
• Homework: Please finish the book before the next class

Curriculum (Mahabharata)

Sahyadri

• Continued the Mahabharata story till the birth of Pandavas and Kauravas

Meru

• Recapped the stories until 'Khandavaprastha'
• Homework: Finish reading the 'Lac House' chapter for discussion during next class. 

Himalaya

• Mahabharata - Gandhari and  genesis of Duryodhana’s evil
• Homework : kids to identify their Mahabharata based research projects
