Please find the notes below for each group and let us know if you have any questions. Also, note that the next class (Superbowl Sunday) will be "remote" via zoom from 3:30 - 5:30

Group Activity - All kids recited Pooja mantras on the auspicious occasion of Vasanta Panchami.

A few general notes for all students.

• Be ready with the books in order to better utilize the class time.
• Complete any homework assigned in the class in a timely manner.
  
• Reach out to your teacher if you have any difficulties with the content or your schedules. 

Slokas

Agasthya

• Revised Shloka Sheet until end of peace prayers
• Homework: Kids should practice and memorize slokas by listening to the recording every day
  

Vishwamitra

• Learned the first 4 stanzas of Shiva Panchakshara Stotram.

Vashista

• Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam Stotram - Dhyanam
  

Kashyapa

• Revised Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam from 1-41. 
• Homework: Kids to practice Shri Lalitha Sahasranamam Dhyanam for test next week.
• Also practice Nirvana Shatkam.

Yagnavalkya & Shaunaka

• We went over the meanings of the lingashtakam and Shivashtakam.
• Test retake completed. Shaunaka students Nikhil, Saki and Saket ready to move to Vishwamitra

Language

Hindi (older students)

• Wrote sentences and learnt opposites

Hindi (younger students)

• Practiced vowels and consonants and wrote simple words
• Homework: Practice writing vowels and consonants

Sanskritam

• Started sentences with tomorrow, day after and future

Telugu

Sahyadri

• Started to talk about Gandhiji and covered the first few chapters from his childhood to college life.

Meru

• Kids read additional chapters from the Mahatma Gandhi book and wrote their thoughts based on the reading.
  

Himalaya

• Started Gandhiji's book
• Homework: each student is encouraged to read about Gandhi from sources other than Wikipedia about an aspect of him that interests them for group discussion next class
