Namaste All,

Please find the notes below for each group and let us know if you have any questions. Also, please ensure that the kids bring in their materials to the class - notebook, textbook (if applicable) and pencil.

A new book has been distributed to Sahyadri and Meru groups - Please ensure that kids write their name on it and make sure to add it to their bags.

Group Geet - All kids should practice singing Chandan Hai Is Desh Ki Mati.

A few general notes for all students.

• Be ready with the books in order to better utilize the class time.
• Complete any homework assigned in the class in a timely manner.
  
• Reach out to your teacher if you have any difficulties with the content or your schedules. 

Slokas

Agasthya

• Revised Shloka Sheet until end of peace prayers
• Homework: Kids should practice and memorize slokas by listening to the recording every day during the holidays. Test on all peace prayers next class.

Vishwamitra

• Completed Sri Ashtalakshmi Stotram test.

Vashista

• More Revision: Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam Stotram Revision - till 22.

Kashyapa

• Revised Sri Lalitha Sahasranamam from 1-30. 
• Also recited Nirvana Shatkam.

Yagnavalkya & Shaunaka

• Ganesha Pancharatnam - verses 1-5.
  
• Sivanandalahari - 3 slokas
  

Language

Hindi (older students)

• Read and wrote a paragraph about Deepak and Kavita conversation

Hindi (younger students)

• Hindi Conversation - discussed about different colors
• Homework -  Find a color in their home and count how many times it is repeated and tell the same in Hindi in the next class
  

Sanskritam

• Covered everyday words (close to 200).
  

Telugu 

• Pop Quiz on pronouns, tense and verbs
• Homework - Review the quiz results with parents and bring the signed sheet to the next class.
  

Curriculum

Sahyadri

• Finished all the sub-stories about Shivaji and started the story on Tanaji. 
• Targeted to finish Tanaji next class and move on to talk about Mahatma Gandhi

Meru

• Started with the new book on Mahatma Gandhi.
  

Himalaya

• Watched video snippets from "Gandhi" movie - Gandhi Movie Clips - YouTube
• Group discussion with the focus on Gandhiji's life in South Africa
