About the default language

At least for me the user interface is by default in France.

I would prefer English or Finnish :-).

The reason for which the control tree is not generated in your
environment is unclear, maybe it's a MIDI communication problem, maybe
the control tree generation procedure is just not working with
firmware 1.0...

I have a few ideas:
- maybe you could try with a recent laptop running windows 7 service
pack 1 or/and with another MIDI interface..
- maybe you could give me remote access to a machine with the G2
connected, so that i can check what's going on and tune the control
tree generation procedure (If you don't trust me and security was a
real concern, you should not run my software since you didn't check
the source code and didn't compile it... btw you should not run any
proprietary software.)
- maybe somebody could give me (local access to) a G2 with firmware
1.0
- maybe I could suggest you to order the 1.1 ROM from http://stecrecords.com
(no waste of time for both of us)
