Need help with making a 2012 Metal Sound

I use low tunings and also 7 strings and have the issues of not getting that rumble without having mud as a tone.
its sounds like im playing though a funnel
when i had more highs, i get a hissing tone more then clarity

any advice or settings

I use the preamp setting and only eq to get my sound
