hi there.  Appreciating the G2 is a product towards the twilight of the rackworld, many (including me) are finding it super useful in a small 4CM rig with a decent pre and power.  also seems products likely the newly launched (or to be launched) pedalhead from wamplyer/friedman will reinject some life into older rack/4CM stuff (lying around, collecting dust but happy to reappear).  anyway, just got the G2 for such a purpose, am upgrading the firmware to 1.1, getting some italo G2 presets (i have his packs for other lexicons and eventides) and they are amazing.  so, i'm just wondering if the web editor is still accessible and what windows operating system it runs on?  the link on the website seems dead, but it could be i'm using a 64 bit windows 11 laptop?

cheers

Ian

Hey !

Sorry it looks like nowadays some browsers (like Chrome or Edge which is based on Chrome) do not allow downloading files anymore via "http" redirection to "https" and it did break the download links for those web browsers :-P

But downloading with Firefox or a command like "curl" was still working fine.

Thanks for pointing out the glitch, you should be able to download the editor now.

Running the editor is still working on Windows 10 but you have to set the compatibility mode to Windows 7 in the application properties dialog (right click on the application then choose "). Did not try with Windows 11 yet but I guess it does apply too. See details here: https://share.google/aimode/3PDCp3gEV8SIurTxj

Then first thing in the editor you have to select your midi interface in "Configuration" (Keep midi device ID to 0 unless you have other G2s and did change their ID using the front panel)

Then click "Home" in the upper right corner and eg "Program Settings".

Grayed menu options are not implemented, and will probably never be unless somebody funds me or wants to work on it.

Best regards,

Luc
