Job Details: DESIGNATION: Team Member - Kitchen Staff, Housekeeping, Delivery Boy, Guest Relations, Front Office - AT PIZZA HUT Qualifications:
- Minimum SSC / HSC Passed
- Basic knowledge of understanding and conversing in English language
- Presentable personality as he would represent an international brand
Job profile: The restaurant has basically two sections -
- Back of the house (Kitchen)
- Front of the house (Service in Dine in area / Home delivery area)
- The person selected has to typically perform the following duties:
Back of the House:
- He is required to be a part of the team which is involved in direct preparation of the food products.
- Initially he is assisted by a senior team member who ensures that the new employee is trained on the requisite standards and basics to execute his role for a month.
- He has to prepare for the raw products and make the complete product as per the order. Maintain the standards of the products while preparing the same in relation to production standards, service time standards, maintaining the hygienic conditions of - personal as well as food products.
- Other roles includes arranging the stocks in FIFO, receiving the stocks and goods as and when applicable, helping the seniors and managers in inventory count and other duties as asked for by the manager on duty.
- Also several cleaning tasks is a part of the job like - brooming, mopping, scrubbing floors, kitchen area, food containers, storage areas.
Front of the House:
- More specifically he is in direct contact with the customers.
- He has to be well groomed and presentable to the customer as he represents the brand.
- He has to greet, take and serve the orders, take care of them while they are dining, interact with them, check their satisfaction, laying the table, cleaning the table, cleaning the surrounding area to maintain it clean and sparkling to enhance the customer's experience.
- Also has to handle lot of cash for closing the transactions. Conducting and helping in executing the birthday parties whenever scheduled.
- Also several cleaning tasks is a part of the job like - brooming, mopping, scrubbing floors, dine in area, toilets, other areas related to the customer being present.
- Other roles includes arranging the stocks in FIFO, receiving the stocks and goods as and when applicable, helping the seniors and managers in inventory count and other duties as asked for by the manager on duty.
Difference between part time and full time job:
- A full time employee gets the benefits of paid offs, paid leaves and the remuneration is fixed.
- A part time employee is paid solely on the hours worked and there are no paid off's or paid leaves for him. He would have to be flexible to work as per the business needs of the particular restaurant he is located in. Current remuneration for part time employees is at an average of Rs. 23/- (Rupees Twenty three only) per hour.
