I usually run through a submixer in order to utilize outboard effects. I've also run straight into Digi 002 interface through an effects chain. As long as you have some attenuation control on your AD/DA interface I can't imagine why there would be a problem with plugging directly into your interface.

--PierceIt's been totally quiet here for -- what -- more than a year, perhaps?I'm betting Peter Pringle can help with the recording question you have. I have two Etherwaves built from the EM plans published back in 1996 or thereabouts. I've never recorded with them, but I plug them into my stereo's aux in jacks with no issues. Hope that helps.

Does anyone have any experience recording line level, plugging straight into an interface using VST plugins meant for guitar or keyboards?
I won't plug my first Etherwave SS into it because it is "Hot-Rodded", but I was thinking about plugging my other Etherwave SS into it which is not modded...
Have not been on since before the Google transition. Anybody still hang out here?
