Well hello there!
This is just a quick note to let you know that Levi Fuller & the Library will emerge from our infant-and-work-induced semi-hibernative state to perform some rock and/or roll songs for you along with several other bands in celebration of the release of Ball of Wax Audio Quarterly Volume 45: One Minute Singles II. (Details up above there.)
One of the songs we will perform is a brand-new tune featured on BoW 45, a bracing 90-second rocker pairing despair with the state of the world with the hope induced by being a dad. (I know, I know - this is apparently what fatherhood does to you. Bear with me and we'll get through it together.) The new song (titled "Unfuck the World") \will soon be hearable via the Ball of Wax Bandcamp page (and Blog of Wax), but if you want a sneak preview you can hear the whole thing at the end of Word on the Street Version 95, the podcast I recently recorded with Alexander Zimmerman, aka Zim. We talked about Ball of Wax, Levi Fuller and the Library, and probably a bunch of other stuff too. I hope it didn't veer too far into middle-aged indie-rocker navel-gazing territory.
That's all for now. Please come out Friday, it would be great to see you. You'll see a bunch of great music and get a CD filled with thirty-three 60-to-90-second songs. What's not to like?
