Hey, it's our first show of the decade! I hope you'll come out. This next volume of Ball of Wax is pretty special. First, I hand-picked ten local musicians from the Ball of Wax community, in addition to myself, who gamely agreed to participate in this project. Then I randomly selected the order in which we would cover each other’s songs*. This Friday, February 21st, this CD – 11 brand-new recordings of Seattle musicians interpreting each other’s work – will be released and we'll have a big fun show about it.

Jon and Dekker and I will play our version of Nic Masangkay's "Forever," along with a guest vocal appearance from our friend Amanda, and the original version of "Colossal," which Frames in Motion will play their cover of (I have it all written down somewhere). We'll play a couple other songs, too. And it will be a whole great night of great music and you should come or we'll all just be playing to ourselves.
