Greetings folks. I thought I'd get this update out last week but
it's taken a bit longer for our plans to become clear. Here's what
I can share currently:
- Level 12 has a tentative partnership agreement with tinyGuardian that
will result in our need to bring on additional development staff
- While all the major terms are agreed to, it still has to
make it's way through legal, hence being "tentative".
- We believe we will close NLT March 31st
- In light of the partnership, we intend to hire 2-3 devs in
2026
- We hesitate to hire W2 employees before the deal closes
- It's possible we'll have new development work we can get
started on before the deal closes
In light of all of the above, our current plan is to:
- Take applications from interested parties who meet our
qualifications
- Give preference to 1-2 applicants who are able to work as
contractors and start working on some projects with them in
March
- This work will serve as their evaluation instead a more
traditional pre-employment screening process
- These will be contract-to-hire positions
- Start to process through applications who need a W2 position
in late March / early-April
For these positions, living in a US timezone will be required.
Non-US applicants will need to be able to work permanently as
contractors.
If you are interested/qualified and haven't already, move through
the first step of the application process described on our job
descriptions. We are dusting off our hiring process after a
couple year hiatus so there are some kinks we are still working
out on our side. Consider yourselves part of the beta testing
group. :)
If you have already applied, we will get back to you either way.
But it may take another 2-4 weeks before we really get into the
swing of evaluating and responding to applications.
Thanks.
