June Hiring Update - Pausing Hiring

We’ve been able to make the hires we need for the time being, so we’re going to pause active hiring for the next 3–5 months. I expect we’ll likely resume hiring in the fall, with the goal of adding another 1–2 developers.
As I mentioned in earlier updates, we focused first on senior candidates. We still have some senior-level a number of mid-level applications we haven’t reviewed yet, and we’ll continue working through those over the coming months. As we identify qualified candidates, we may invite them to take the next step in the process so we’re ready when hiring opens back up.
I also want to acknowledge the time and effort many of you have already put into this process. Applying, interviewing, and working through hiring steps takes real energy, and I appreciate the interest you’ve shown in Level 12. I realize the timing may be frustrating, especially if you were hoping for a faster process. Some of you may decide to step away, and others may prefer to wait before investing more time until we’re actively hiring again. Either is completely understandable.
Thanks again for your interest in working with us. We’ll continue to keep this group updated as our hiring plans become clearer.
