When Science first became manifest upon earth, its initial mode of
attracting the attention of the humanity that divinity designed it
to reach, was that of performing a seemingly endless number of
"phenomenal exhibition[s]" as evidenced by the healing of physical
sickness and disease and the redemption of an innumerable army of
human beings from the ravages of unseen, silent, mental influences
commonly identified by the word, "sin."

This proliferation of human lives healed of their physical maladies
and mental predispositions, were produced, exclusively, by Christ
Jesus' healings of physical diseases and mental sins by his resorting,
exclusively, to metaphysical means and modes that divinity had
designed as the ultimate methodology to undertake the total redemption
and evangelization of all mankind!

Today, in absolute conformity to that which Science reveals; namely:

"Healing physical sickness is the smallest part of Christian Science.
It is only the bugle-call to thought and action, in the higher range
of infinite goodness. The emphatic purpose of Christian Science is the
healing of sin; and this task, sometimes, may be harder than the cure
of disease; because, while mortals love to sin, they do not love to be
sick. Hence their comparative acquiescence in your endeavors to heal
them of bodily ills, and their obstinate resistance to all efforts to
save them from sin through Christ, spiritual Truth and Love, which
redeem them, and become their Saviour, through the flesh, from the
flesh, -- the material world and evil."

Today, an exceedingly important and beneficial decision that would
affirmatively impact the entire Cause of Christian Science as it
revitalized the movement's primary reason to exist, would be to
completely lay aside, and thereby, de-emphasize the healing of
physical disease by metaphysical measures and modes. Rather, the
thought of all humanity would be irresistibly drawn to Christian
Science if, henceforth, the emphasis of the Cause would undergo a
transformation from that of spiritual healing to that of spiritual
revealing!

To accomplish so crucial and vital a "change of base," the lesser role
of 'healing' would needs be downplayed and the greater role of
"teaching" would receive the unified attention and support of every
"honest seeker for Truth" whom the world is now so privileged
and blessed as to be hosting!

Christian Science -- The Divine Prototype of all sciences needs to
become the central 'bull's eye' upon which the attention and interest
of all humanity can begin to focus as it develops its ability to
intelligently and systematically assimilate this most divinely
energized and enabling Truth!

Today, in this instant hour we all occupy, the greatest of all needs
being felt universally, and by all throughout the entire, world-wide
Cause of Christian Science, is for better TEACHING rather than just
more of the same old and severely deficient, so-called HEALING WORK
that, in all honesty, just ISN'T TRANSPIRING! -- and this, despite the
damnable lies and well-meaning testimonies to the contrary that,
tragically and regrettably, so abound throughout the entire church
organization, and this, by the most adroit use of both subliminal as
well as overt indoctrination and brain-washing that has resulted in
repetitive patters of less than honorable depict and behavior; i.e.,
our pathetically pedantic Wednesday evening testimonial meetings!

Today's Church trained, yet pathetic assemblage of so-called teachers
of Mind's Universal and Celestial Christ Science couldn't teach their
way if on a one way road from out of a wet paper bag! Thus,
henceforth, the ultimate need of this and every hour, in this and
every Age, will be for teachers of the first magnitude teaching those
who aspire to be teachers, of precisely WHEN IT IS EXPEDIENT TO TEACH
CHRISTIAN SCIENCE, AND THEN, HOW TO GO ABOUT CORRECTLY TEACHING IT!

You can see the deplorable state of affairs we find ourselves now
facing, and that defy resolution, are gradually intensifying to the
point of threatening the very existence of the Cause! Why? Because
the so-called "self-instruction" in Christian Science that is called
for within the Church Manual is predicated upon two givens; namely:

1. That there are individual 'selves' who recognize their need to be
taught;

2. A uniform pattern for accessing the instruction so absolutely
mandatory to producing an ever-expanding and ever-enlightened army
of qualified, experienced, and enthusiastic TEACHERS of this, the
most majestic and awesome SPIRITUAL MANIFESTO which divinity has
ever revealed to humanity!
