for Tourism and Culture, Nawang Rigzin Jora has said that various
innovative initiatives have been taken up to explore the adventure
tourism potential of Zanskar Valley.
He said the state government has submitted three project reports of Rs 4.85 crore to Union Ministry of Tourism for funding to upgrade the tourism related infrastructure at various adventure spots of the area. He added that it is expected that the approval from the Centre would be received soon to start the execution of these works in the area.
