our second meeting

[Lets Help China]

Hi Everyone, 

We have a few new members now and it has been a while since we met last time. I'd like propose a meeting on thursday11/25 (sorry for the short notice), at 7pm, in downtown manhattan. Hopefully we can get a proper meeting room this time. 

The purpose of this meeting is to:

1.  meet with a few new people 

2.  confirm a name for our organization

3.  discuss incentives for original participants and founders of the organization. 

4.  select 3 persons as the founders of the organization for registrations purpose. 

5.  funding related issues. 

6.  elect a person to lead the project. i'm leaving for China and will be away for 2 months.

Please go to the "participants" spreadsheet in your Google docs and mark whether you will attend this meeting.

Thanks Alex, will not be able to attend but more than happy to dial in. I will be also away for 2 months from mid January, so would be nice to know the stand of the things.

Besides the points you've mentioned, I'd like to suggest

1. going  though the timelines and make the next steps plan
2. review the program/project design and get consensus of the members

I am not sure how the traffic will look like on Thusday afternoon in Manhattan, because it is on Thanksgiving holiday. Do you guys have any idea about this?

Hi Everyone, 

I'm rescheduling the meeting to Tuesday 11/30. 

I just realized that Thursday is thanksgiving so a lot of people will be out of town. I must have been dreaming when picking the date last time. sorry for that!
