Business plan 03.13.2011

Hey Everybody,

After talking to Alex, I revised the business plan to the attached. Please have a look at it. The main change is that I drafted the plan for the first program to bring the organization's mission to the following:

Mission:

1. Set up private-owned orphanages in rural areas for orphans with hepatitis-B

2. Promote leadership learning opportunities for young and talented Chinese youth.

I understand that it may be difficult to run the first program as it would involve considerable resources. However, please comment on it first. Thanks. All thoughts are welcome. An alternative to initiate the program may be our direct financial support to the established orphanages. The problem then will be that the potential social influence of the program would not be so significant.

Re #1 I think it requires too much resource to manage an orphanage. We have previously decided to do projects that involve only very simple tasks, such as giving money out directly.

Re#2, for this we already have a detailed plan. Xiao Juan is in charge of this part. Please discuss with xiaojuan and refer back to the business plan.

For # 1, that's also my concern. We can simply give money out to an established orphanage. Any thoughts on aiding which classes or areas of orphans?

For # 2, I did not make any change.
