South Beach Yacht Club Friday Night Racing

It’s that time of year...time to race. There were perhaps 25-30 boats
out for the Friday Night series sponsored by the SBYC. If you want to
race, checkout their website or post your availability here. I know of
3 boats that went out either shorthanded or singlehanded because they
didn’t have enough crew.

Go out and have some fun and there’s a GREAT party/bbq after each
race. Next one is
THIS Friday night.

YES, it’s VERY easy to show up and catch a ride. Get to the club
around 5 and ask around or show up on the docks and ask anyone if they
need crew. On windy days it’s even easier.

It’s the best way to learn how to sail there is...by doing!
