| Sorry, I can't make it that day. I'm working an afternoon duty. Drat, sounds great. Anne --- On Wed, 29/9/10, Kimberley Cleland <kimberle...@gmail.com> wrote: |
I didn't know I am on the garden management team - is that true?
I wondered if people like Gillian and Ron could be invited and Gisella
Warmenhoven - the seed bank person.
I saw them at the Transition Town meeting last night and mentioned the
pot luck to them and was surprised they didn't know about it.
Should I have?? Am a bit confused. Would appreciate clarification.
Warm wishes

He he, I didn't know you were on there either - though you are most welcome!
The local garden team is primarily for the locals who are keen on being part of the ongoing management of the garden - and given that you live at Pyes Pa that might be tricky for you long term - just as it will be for us who live at Te Puna.. There are a few of us (myself included) who are very involved with this garden at this stage, but who have more of a heart for establishing community gardens anywhere in Tauranga, so long term will probably be involved in helping facilitate the establishment of other gardens....if anything I think I imagined you would have been more interested in that kind of team involvement.
There is currently growing momentum for a garden in Welcome Bay actually that I am starting to look at.......
No chance of life getting boring!!
Please feel VERY welcome to come join us on Wednesday night, as are Maureen & Ron etc
Hope to see you soon!
Anne.
