LAST CALL for Presentations for Seminar Letras-Inglês - 1st and 2nd March!!!

Hi there everybody,

 

Here I am again! This is just to let you know that I have only received 3 project presentation proposals so far - which is a great disappointment. So we may even reduce the 2-day proposal to a 1-day only seminar. Since the main aim of this seminar is to provide an opportunity for you all to share your own work with students from different periods, it seems to be the case that you are just not interested in this aspect of your studies - which is a great pity!

 

However, if laziness and the dislike of writing are contributory factors, I will now accept projects without the short paragraph explaining what the project is about. So check the amended e-mail below which was sent out on the 13th and I hope to receive a few more proposals as soon as possible.

Hi there everybody,

 

This is just to remind you all that we will be having our 2nd Letras-Inglês Seminar during the first week of term - specifically on the Tuesday (1st) and Wednesday (2nd) of March. Since the huge majority of students who particpated last term asked for us to have a similar event at the beginning of each term - we are getting organised in order to do just that .... OK? And since one of the main aims of the seminar is to offer a chance for students to present their term projects or TCCs I now need students who are interested in presenting to send me the necessary data.

 

We need the following items for each presentation:

 

1) Full Title of the project;

2) The full names of the group members who are going to present;

3) (A short resumé of the main aims of the project: 3-4 sentences at the most! - OPTIONAL!)

4) Specify whether you will be presenting in the morning or the afternoon.

 

Applications will only be accepted if all information is included.

 

Applications should be sent to me before February 24th.

 

Remember that all students who present their projects receive certificates later on, OK?And all students who attend the seminar will receive certificates which will be counted towards the 200 hours for AACCs, right? Always good for your CVs.
