Dear friends,

For some time now this Google group has been mostly inactive (except for Ivan Olson - you've kept the list alive!). The reason for this is because after the earthquake a new Google group was created for coordination and information sharing and became the main list for discussion and posting around Haiti issues. That Google group is haitirespon...@googlegroups.com. I invite you to visit the page for the Haiti Response Coalition Google group and consider joining. It is a very active list with interesting information shared on a regular basis. Here is the link:

Let Haiti Live was a vibrant coalition in 2002-2004, but ceased to function as a coalition in 2004. In 2010 I founded a project and chose to use the name Let Haiti Live because of my close association with the name both from the time I coordinated the Coalition and because of the book I co-edited with the same name. I will be keeping the lethai...@googlegroup.com list but haven't decided what it's use will be as of yet since the HRC list has really come to play the role this list once played years ago. Therefore I again encourage you to visit and join the HRC Google group today, as I will be discontinuing this list in its current format.

Thank you,
Melinda
