I am working on a project and would like to make copies of some of the maps I have so I can test things on a map and see if it works instead of doing constant edits/changes on the original map. When I make a copy of the map (Save As), it seems to always link it to the original map, which means that whenever I make changes on the copy map, there are some changes that show up on the original map.

Do you own the layers that are included in your web map? IF so, when you change the symbology or web map do you save the layer, or save the change by saving the web map. If you save the layer specifically from the options in the contents and you own the layer, it updates the layer visualization properties which can be perpetuated with other web maps that consume the layer. If you save a copy of the map, the symbology changes will be saved to the map and should not be perpetuated to other copies of the web map.

When I make the changes in the web map, I save it by saving the web map. Should I save the layer in the copy map instead? I press Save on the map, so shouldn't pressing Save just save the web map or does it save for all layers? Normally I can share them, but I am not in the process of sharing this specific map yet, which is why I want to make changes on a copy map and experiment what I can do.

Recent military service and medical records are not online. However, most veterans and their next of kin can obtain free copies of their DD Form 214 (Report of Separation) and the following military service records any of the ways listed below.

Some companies advertise DD Form 214 research services and will charge a fee for obtaining copies. This is provided as a free service by the National Archives and Records Administration.

There is a fee for records that are considered "Archival," which depends on the discharge date. If the request is made 62 years after the service member's separation from the military, the records are now open to the public and subject to the public fee schedule (44 USC 2116c and 44 USC 2307). This is a rolling date, the current year minus 62 years. Learn more.

Response times from NPRC vary depending on the complexity of your request, the availability of the records, and our workload. We work actively to respond to each request in a timely fashion, keep in mind we receive approximately 4,000 - 5,000 requests per day.

Records are accessioned into the National Archives, and become archival, 62 years after the service member's separation from the military. This is a rolling date, the current year minus 62 years. See more information on records older than 62 years.

Archival records are open to the public and can be ordered online for a copying fee. See Access to Military Records by the General Public for more details.

For additional details on what information may or may not be included, please see the Special Notice to Veterans and Family Members regarding requests for copies of military personnel and/or medical files.

You can mail or fax your signed and dated request to the National Archives' National Personnel Record Center (NPRC). Be sure to use the address specified (either in the instructions on the SF-180 or in our online system, eVetRecs). Most, but not all records, are stored at the NPRC. (See full list of Locations of Military Service Records.)

Special Note on Contacting by Email: Requests for military personnel records or information from them cannot be accepted by email at this time. The Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a) and Department of Defense directives require a written request, signed and dated, to access information from military personnel records. Our email address should only be used only to request general information (hours of operations, procedures and forms) or to submit compliments, complaints, or concerns.

NOTE: If you send messages using WebTV or a free-email service, you will not receive our response if your mailbox is full. Messages sent to full mailboxes are returned to us as "undeliverable." I have created a Web Mapping Application. I would now like to make a copy (or even multiple copies) of the application, so that I can edit the copy to make a different version of the application. How can I do this?

I have the same issue. I am using the interactive legend template in there is no option to save as for making a copy. I also do not see any options to make a copy on the Content tab or anywhere else.

I would like to publicly publish a "static" copy of my project work (AGOL Experinece Webapp), while continuing to work on my project. I would like to make a "static" copy of my webapp where all my webapp's associated feature layers are also "static" copies. These static copies would be disconnected from the original service definitions so they could not be updated with any eidts I make and would remain like a snapshot in time. This way, my current AGOL Experience Webapp can be published as is and I can continue to use my original feature layers to continue working on my project. I used AGOL assistant to make the copies, but noticed the service definitions were still connected to the new copies. Is there a way to disconnect the service definition to my new copy to create a "static" copy that doesn't receive updates. I'm looking for this shortcut to avoid re-uploading additional copies of my feature layers (would have different service defintions) and avoid rebuilding my AGOL Experience Webapp.

I created a copy of a WebApp Builder application using ArcGIS Assistant. However, when I go to the item page for the newly generated application, there is no option to download. I'm not sure if this is a feature or bug for copying WebApp Builder apps using ArcGIS Assistant.

From what I read, -assistant.esri.com/ is an older app. And the newer version is ArcGIS Assistant. However, the rub is that both are technically not supported by Esri, even though they suggest using them.

Hello,

This morning as I came into work, I saw a note saying my work associate cannot duplicate a tab on excel online, so I've had a bit of a play with it this morning, but stretched my limit of trouble shooting, which is why I'm here as a last resort.

I use microsoft edge on 1 PC and Chrome on another and both PC's are doing the same thing, it doesn't matter if it's a new excel work book or what ever it does the same thing.

On the PC that uses chrome I checked with edge, and the option to duplicate a tab is there, so I don't know what's going on, did microsoft update and remove the duplicate feature from excel online?

I have tried:

- Searching the internet

- Resetting my chrome settings and history

Usually I am fine with excel online but this option has me baffled as I know it's not a faulty file, it can't be someone's used the office 365 application to enable/disable options because it works in a "fresh" browser.

My only guess is microsoft's done an update that doesn't reflect on the "fresh" browser, and if so then that's really poor as my work colleagues NEED that duplicate option as their excel knowledge is very limited.

Thanks for your time on this really silly issue that shouldn't even be an issue, but microsoft be microsoft I guess.

EDIT: I have tried to log-in with a different account and it appears that account the duplicate is back.

I actually have no idea what is going on here, that just confuses me more, what are you doing microsoft?

Edit 2: I can confirm it's account based, new excel files that I make don't have the duplicate feature, I logged into the edge browser and sure enough the duplicate feature doesn't exist, instead it's "copy" and "paste".

Hi @Bendigo_MC , I'm facing the same issue with you as well. You have any idea how to fix the account that has 'Duplicate' function removed? Is there any option to rollback the update in Excel online?

Afraid there is no such option. You may vote for the idea to keep Duplicate on feedback portal Sheet tab menu - let keep both Duplicate and Copy/Paste sheet Community (microsoft.com) or/and add your own feedback.

@A_Hafizi tecnicamente, no tem a opo de reverter funo DUPLICAR. Um suporte do Excel que nossa empresa contactou informou que podemos votar nesta comunidade para ver se a Microsoft inverte esta deciso. Absurdo isso!

in my mind it sounds ridiculous if there is no way to just copy these files into my dropbox folders via my browser (say for example i am on a holiday and need to do this from remote) the backup can still be there, as a backup. i do not necessarily need to do anything with that currently. i just need a (partial or full) copy to become available as an online folder.. (or even just convert the backup to a regular online folder and be done with it).
