Nestledin the Berkshire Mountains in western Massachusetts, KPSF is a perfect airport to travel to Mt. Greylock (highest point in MA), the Adirondacks, Vermont, or even down to New York City. It is the home of Lyon Aviation (thanks to Katy Utenis there for giving me some excellent reference photos!) and the South Mountain Flying Club.

This scenery is my first 100% custom scenery (well, 98% - some fences came from the default and the ASOS equipment came from OpenScenery). Every aspect of this scenery is entirely accurate to the real-life airport. Please do not use these objects without contacting me first. There are many unique objects and textures here, including grooved asphalt, and edge lights with actual glow around them. Also, the White/Yellow transition for the edge lights in the last 2000' of the runways is visible. I realize that the file size is large, but soon the more universal objects will make their way into my own library, which will cut down on the size of sceneries in the future.

Please, if you find any problems or inaccuracies, let me know. I always strive to make my sceneries as accurate as possible down to the tiniest of details. Probably most of you will never see them, but for me it is important. Also, if you care to donate something, you can find me at paypal.me/RILockGuy

What a great airport. Your attention to detail is stunning. I loved the fields covered in flowers. Dude, I think your lawn has a dandelion issue. Just kidding. Also, where did you get those plows? I really need something like that for my Vermont airports. We all know how it snows in Vermont. Totally worth 5 stars. Amazing work. I love how you have every airplane on the ramp with it's own tie downs. And the noise abatement sign next to the runway just blew me away.

As the 20th century came to a close, John Deere was trying to develop their newest top-end row crop tractor. The Soundgard tractors had been the face of John Deere's progress for the past two decades, but it was time to once again take a step up. The brand-new 8000 series, born from a paper napkin on an airplane flight, was a massive leap forward for John Deere. Debuting in 1995, the 8000 series was an impressive successor to the 60 series Soundgards. Four models covered a range from 179 to 252 horsepower, with the 8100 replacing the 4560, 8200 replacing the 4760, 8300 replacing the 4960, and the top-end model, the 8400, become the new largest row crop tractor, boasting 252 horsepower.

Always support the modder's original link; if you did not download this from the official Skywalker Farms itch.io page, this mod has been stolen and reuploaded elsewhere without consent.

This is one of the best Tractor Mods for FS22. I have been using this tractor for a bit and I am surprised it's not a paid release. It has tons of customization, options, and simply IC to the max! I love this mod and this shows what can be achieved with hard work and dedication. Many other mods don't have this much detail, nor does it have this high quality. Another popular 8010-8410 lacks this detail, and I think this mod needs more recognition.

I think you have a mod conflict because myself and other people tested this tractor a fair amount, and there were never reports of LUA errors. Specifically with the cultivator means it's related to the cultivator or a mod conflict.

freaking awesome tractor!!!!! but i can only get the ic controls on outside of tractor to work like the hood, flashers, hitch width, stairs and door??? what am i doing wrong? and it syas it goes 24mph but will only do 21?? didnt these in real life do 23-24?

For the IC controls, you may need to rebind the key to activate IC. The default is \, but I never got that to work and instead rebinded it to SPACE, and it fixed my issue.

As for the speed, the 8000s only go 21mph, and the 8010s will go 24mph. This is realistic to the transmission changes John Deere made in 1999 to increase speed, but FS will always show 24mph top speed on the speedometer no matter what model you have.

I have been doing 3d modeling for over 20 years, starting with creating airplanes for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. I got my start in Farming Simulator with FS08 and started messing around with other peoples mods to add more realistic functions for myself.

If you would like to donate to support my work, you can find a link below. All my released mods and mods that I show on my discord and Facebook page are public and do not require donation to gain access to them.

What do you mean with "get rid of the overspeed warning"? You can get rid of it by lowering your speed. But you can't get rid of the message so it will never show up if you are in overspeed. Do you know what I mean?

The only way to get rid of the overspeed is to lowering your speed.

RadarMan said that you can get rid of the "brake" message. Well, if you took off and you forgot to set the Autobrake to "off" a "brake" message will show up. To get rid of it, just set your Autobrake to the off position.

Remember, if you are at altitude I.E. 30,000"+ while your airspeed indicator may say you're going 350 kts, you are actually going a lot faster, like on the order of 500 kts+. The airspeed dial reads in indicated airspeed, not true airspeed. The airspeed indicator should be regarded as a instrument that reads aerodynamic pressure rather than airspeed. With that in mind, don't disable the alarm lest you find yourself in a FAST unrecoverable descent with no wings because you overstressed the airframe by going to fast.

Firstly, if you are a complete beginner, you should not be in the 747 trying to fly it. Go through the lessons, and read the Learning Center information, don't hack the game...and for that matter, this is a Simulation, not a game.

Ok, on to your question. Airspeed. By default, it is displayed in KIAS, or Knots Indicated Air Speed. Note the INDICATED part. This is a readout on the speed of the air over the wing, and, as you fly higher, the air is thinner, so you get a readout of a slower KIAS speed because of the thin air. So, you are correct, the 747 can fly at over 500 knots, but, not indicated. I dont think its ever possible to make it fly that fast in indicated.

Ok, you "cant set the speed thing" Let me help you. On the panel, where you see the Attitude indicator, you'll see the speed tape, keep your speed below 250 KIAS at altitudes lower than 10,000. I should say, 250 KIAS is Speed Limit.

At altitude the mach meter is what you should go by, it tells the truth---to a point. .80 mach at 35000' is not the same as .80 mach at 10000'. That is due to the fact that the speed of sound slows down as you go higher. Mach 1 at sea level is roughly 740 mph, mach 1 at 35000 is closer to 660 mph. The best way to determine true airspeed is to know the pressure altitude and temp. of the air you're going through and use a flight computer to calculate your Tas. The next best way is to check your GPS for ground speed versus the winds aloft and direction at your position. The purpose of the mach meter is as follows----- any time you or any other object moves through the air, the air has to accelerate in order to get around you or the object, as you start getting relatively close to mach 1 like .7+ mach ,the air going around the plane has to accelerate to almost mach 1 to get around the plane. Unless the plane is well designed, you can't go much above .85 mach without having the airflow around the plane's wings or control surfaces going supersonic, hence to subsequent loss of control of the plane. So the mach meter also measures aerodynamic pressure, but it measures it relative to the speed of sound at what ever altitude you are at.

Just a slight correction 30000ft is FL300 not FL30 which would equate to 3000ft which is below the standard TA which would not be issued as aFL....in the UK.

I like the conversion for the TAS had not seen it before.

Just a slight "nit-pick" on one of the posts under this subject. Altitudes below 18,000 feet are not called "flight levels". Flight levels begin at 18,000 feet. An altitude of 10,000 feet would be called "one zero" thousand, rather than flight level FL 100. ?

First, let's understand what "overspeed" is. In simple terms, it means that the aircraft is flying faster than its structural limits or design speed. This warning is crucial, as flying at excessive speeds can cause structural damage to the aircraft. So, it's essential to maintain a safe and appropriate speed during your flight.

A few additional resources that might be helpful for a beginner like yourself are the FS2004 Learning Center, which can be accessed through the game's main menu, and the Fly Away Simulation forums ( ). These resources provide valuable information on various aspects of flight simming, including tutorials, tips, and advice from experienced simmers.

I hope this helps you tackle the overspeed warning issue. Remember, practice makes perfect! Keep experimenting with different aircraft and settings, and you'll soon be flying like a pro. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

If the question and answers provided above do not answer your specific question - why not ask a new question of your own? Our community and flight simulator experts will provided a dedicated and unique answer to your flight sim question. And, you don't even need to register to post your question!

Be sure to search for your question from existing posted questions before asking a new question as your question may already exist from another user. If you're sure your question is unique and hasn't been asked before, consider asking a new question.

It seems like you're a bit puzzled about the overspeed situation in Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX). Let's delve into this and hopefully, I can help clear things up for you.First off, to understand this phenomenon, we need to talk a bit about Indic...

How can I turn off the overspeed indicator? All of my airplanes warning systems starts beeping as soon as i exceed 340 knots? how can I cancel this so it doesn't give any warning when I go with 550 knots?Thanks...
