June meet-up?

Hi, everyone

I am new to the group (not new to Waterloo).  Visited Boston recently, and attended a couple of LessWrong meetings there, and enjoyed them.  Just learned from my friends in Boston that there's a LessWrong group in Waterloo, and am interested in participating.

Are we planning something in June?  Is it possible for something to happen?

i'm sure we can make something happen; we've met informally a couple of times over the last 8 weeks or so. i think it's just a matter of putting the call out and seeing who's around. maybe this coming thursday?

the past few times we've met for dinner at Abe Erb in uptown waterloo. 

we can probably schelling for 7pm at Abe Erb and open up the floor for any suggestions/requests for a different venue

Thanks for the suggestion.  But I don't drink.  Can we go somewhere more food-oriented?  (Also saw a review that says their food is terrible ...)  Uptown Waterloo is perfect for meeting.  Do you know how many people we are expecting/usually come to these meetings?  My Thai might not be a bad place for hang out, relatively quiet, and can seat large groups, and they have smoothies (and probably also have some alcoholic drinks, but I can't tell you what because don't look at that part of the menu, sorry).  I am sure Famoso has beer too, and is a bit more bar-like, and is kinda good with large-groups.  Other options: The Indian place off King can work, if people feel like it, and maybe if our group is expected to be under 5.  I like Korean (Owl of Minerva), but I am not sure if I would recommend it for sitting around and chatting (a bit distracting there).

Which restaurant do people prefer, if you have some vague plan of possibly coming?
