This article may spur some conversation: 

Islamic Censorship: How Allah Has Nipped Your Right to Know 

Keep in mind this was written way back in 2003, before the Charlie Hebdo massacre, before the Curtis Culwell Center attack, and before the assassination of Theo van Gogh. 

I am aware there are controversial aspects to this piece, and I don't endorse all of it, however it should make for an interesting discussion.
