Hi!

I have set up lessfs in /etc/fstab and mounting seems to work but I just realized I get the following segfault logged on boot-up (also in dmesg):

2015-10-17T14:35:09.866762+02:00 gargleblaster kernel: [   18.122900] lessfs[2037]: segfault at b8 ip 0000000000417c00 sp 00007fff585975f0 error 4 in lessfs[400000+25000]

Has anybody else seen this? Any idea how to fix it?

I am using 1.7.0 with Berkeley DB and snappy compression.

Regards,

Tilman

Hi Tilman,

Lessfs will leave a core dump after a crash. To answer your question the coredump needs to be analyzed with gdb.

However lessfs is pretty stable and these problems are usually caused by    configuration problems.

Lessfs should log problems in /var/log/messages as well.
