Gems group together when there is a certain amount of gems in the tile. As the value of the gem increases, the size of the gem also increases slightly (the table below, however, does not show the size difference).

Earning 20,000 gems or more through Tapjoy offers or in-app purchases grants the player the Supporter rank. If $30 worth of gems is purchased or a total of 600.000 gems are obtained via Tapjoy offers, the player will get Super Supporter status with 4 new skin colors, the /warp command, cheaper Guild creation and a bigger name/wrench display. This Super Supporter status was introduced during the Systems Update, on September 2nd, 2016.

Each type of block or tree in Growtopia drops a different amount of gems. This amount is usually influenced by the rarity of the block or item, but some blocks drop an unusually large amount of gems as they have been configured to. An example of this is the Mystery Block. When one is broken, the number of gems it yields can range from 10 to 50. Another example of this is the Pot O' Gold, an extremely rare block that is only available during St. Patrick's Week, which can yield up to 200 gems when broken.

In-app purchases, or IAP, allows players to buy different amounts of gems with the use of money. This is the only legal purchase in the game which involves real money. Purchasing the Gem Fountain will give the player an extra Growtoken, and purchasing the It's Rainin' Gems also gives the buyer 2 Growtokens and a Megaphone. During some events such as the St. Patrick's Week or Anniversary Week events, some bonuses may be given when purchasing gems through IAP.

Dialing the number "12345" using a Telephone will connect the player to Crazy Jim, who offers three daily Life Goals. The second Life Goal in the list is the Gem Goal. When completed, the Gem Goal will reward the player with a random amount of gems depending on the player's Awesomeness, with 0% awesomeness giving the least gems and 100% the most gems. Once completed, the Gem Goal will not be available again until 0:00 of the next day (UTC-05:00).

I bought a S$50 iTunes card this morning at 7-Eleven. I redeemed it once I got home. I purchased the " It's Rainin' Gems " pack in Growtopia, from the Growtopia Store. I purchased it 4 times, forgetting that there was a 3-time limit for spending money in the Tapjoy Store. I got the gems from the first 3 times, but I didn't get it from the 4th time, even though a message popped up after I purchased this pack for the fourth time, " Thank you, your purchase was successful. " Also, when I checked how much credit I had left from the iTunes card, it showed that I used it all! Also, can someone tell me how to find the invoice for this as I could not find it in my email. I have the receipt here.

Back again with me @grisaia-steem, still in the "Growtopia" game, this time I will start harvesting Fence in my wolrd. This fence item will produce gems when planted in Block Soil. Where also to produce gems there are several stages of growth. If I say that this fence is like tubers where at the time of harvest, their fruit is in the ground. So usually this fence will produce gems in the soil lock which is planted on the fourth day. Now it's time to harvest these gems.

When we harvest these gems we will also get the Root of the fence. So, this can be sold. But the price is very cheap. In fact, because there are too many selling this item, the price for this Root of fence item is 600/WL. For that reason, I'd rather just Recycle this item, even though we don't get anything. It's better this way it also makes it easier for me.

I have two items that are pentagonal in shape. now the use of this TM is to destroy the block that is broken as long as it is the right of the player. This TM will consume gems as fuel. Which is 1 gems equivalent to 1 hit. In other words, to destroy the "Portcullis" item, which has a total of 10 hits. Then TM will take 10 gems to destroy the item. This TM can hold 8000 gems. Which is 2300 gems is expected to run out for an hour. I bought this item for a total price of 1250 WL or 12 Dimoand Lock 50 wl for one piece. Whereas I have 2 pieces which means spending 25 Diamond locks or 25000 wl.

Not longer after Canes, Fish Tank became popular among Growtopians. Still, they drop a similar amount of gems averaged by time spent planting and breaking. Unlike Canes, they do not provide many splicing recipes.

I recommend Fish Tanks if you prefer harvesting only once a day. Many people steer away from Science Stations, because it pays off better if you can harvest twice. So, even if Sugar Cane pays better, Fish Tanks give you more gems in bulk.

Gems can be obtained in Growtopia by either breaking blocks, breaking trees, or recycling items. The higher the rarity of theitem is, the more likely you are to receive more gems. For example, you have a better chance of receiving gems from chandeliers (rarity87) than from dirt (rarity 1). You can also buy gems with realmoney from the gem store in the game.
