Important safety note: inspect your 2x Power Viewers before every use. Do not use and discard if any part of the viewer or the solar film inside is damaged, torn, punctured, or separated from the frame in any way. Do not use these viewers in combination with any magnifying optical device (i.e., telescopes, binoculars).

But all I get is a grey box that states "Couldn't open PDF file", with a Link underneath "Open in my Browser instead" which works perfectly. I.e. the URL I give to the PDF viewer is definitely correct.

i used a work around. In my case, PDF Viewer is able to display other documents except pdf. So the workaround was to convert the pdf to word or pptx, then it can be displayed. below its the flow in power automate to do that.

A new month means it's time to celebrate and welcome the new user groups that have joined our community. We are excited to announce that we have more than 8 New Groups, which is no surprise after the amazing Microsoft Power Platform Conference. This month, we are breaking them out by the different community categories. If your group is listed here, give this post a kudo so we can celebrate with you!Don't forget to take a look at the many events happening near you or virtually! It's a great time of year to connect and engage with User Groups both locally and online. All spacecraft need electrical power to operate and perform scientific tasks. NASA's Perseverance rover carries with it, as its power source, a Multi-Mission Radioisotope Power System (MMRTG). This power system is the same as what is powering NASA's Curiosity rover, Perseverance's sibling. Curiosity has been exploring Mars since landing there in August 2012.

The MMRTG converts heat from the natural radioactive decay of plutonium into electricity. This power system charges the rover's two primary batteries. The heat from the MMRTG is also used to keep the rover's tools and systems at their correct operating temperatures.

I've been searching for an answer for this for a while and stumbled upon a solution that I think might work for your case too. I used the react-doc-viewer library that enables you to display multiple file types like ppt, word, excel and many more. You can install it with npm, further instructions on this link -doc-viewer and simply create a custom viewer component that you can reuse for your files.

Hello all.

To share a power bi reporting to mobile need to have Power Bi Pro license right ? I would like to know if the end user will need any power bi pro license / power bi premium to view the content of the report? Or do not need to have any licensing to open up the reports?

Today the report needs to be shared via a Power BI app which is hosted on a Premium capacity in order for a free viewer to be able to view it. In the future when we enable direct report sharing this will probably be available also ith using a Power BI App, but still the workspaces of that report will need to be hosted on Power BI Premium capacity.

You should not experience much trouble downloading and installing the Viewer application on your workstation. However, the component of the viewer that provides the Listing of Available Companies - and downloads the database may not work properly with your workstation or network configuration. In the event that you cannot download data, it is suggested that you download the entire database for the specific year you desire. The downloaded file should be unzipped into the appropriate folder. Then, start the Viewer and use Options/Change DB Location to point to the database folder.

I assumed making Power Apps that display a PDF stored in a SharePoint document library would be easy. Power Apps already has a built-in PDF viewer control. All I need to do is supply the file location and it will show the PDF, right?

To make a better looking file explorer we will place a PDF icon beside each filename in the list and document icon for all other file types that cannot be opened by the PDF viewer. Insert a new Image into the gallery and place it on the left-side of the row.

I may have read your blog post incorrectly, but does this work on authenticated / secure Sharepoint sites? I followed your steps and the power automate flow fails at the Get File Content step, due to authentication error, so want to make sure I read your instructions correctly (which I thought bypassed the authentication issue that experimental PDF was having).

The user triggering the flow must have read access to the SharePoint site for this to work. The purpose of the flow is to create a Data URI which can be consumed by the PDF viewer because it cannot read files behind an HTTPS (as opposed to HTTP) web address. Is this info helpful?

The post is excellent and following it I have implemented the pdf viewer for the SharePoint files, but just wanted to check if we could fetch the no. of pages and current page number in pdf viewer in powerapps. We have a requirement to show the acknowledgement button once user finishes reading the document. Is there any way we could implement this?

I have followed the guide step by step but am having a slight issue on the final step. When I add the PDF viewer and put varDocumentCurrent into the Document property I get an error saying it Expected a Blob Value.

This blog has helped me massively. I have one minor issue that you may be able to help with. I have multiple pages in my app that all contain the PDF viewer, using the method above. They all work as expected however when I move from one screen to another, the previously viewed PDF file shows up straight away. Ideally, I would like it to be blank every time the user moves to a different screen.

Hi, Mattew! New to Power Platform and loving it. I am learning how to transition a couple of Access Databases (with SharePoint lists serving as the backend) into Power Apps and I have to say I am having fun. The directions on how to create a PDF viewer were spot on. Transitioning from using VBA has been a little bit of challenge, but learning new ways of doing things, which as you know is a constant in the fascinating world of development. ? Thank you for all your great content. You should have a Patreon or PayPal Donation link because I know a bunch of people (myself included) who would definitely support you in all the good work that you do. BTW, I absolutely love the cat images on your articles. They put a big smile on my face every time.

Desert View Power (DVP) is a 45-megawatt renewable energy power plant located approximately 40 miles east of Palm Springs in Riverside County, California, and is located on the Cabazon Band of Cahuilla Indians Reservation.

Greenleaf Power acquired DVP in 2011 and has more than 30 full-time employees plus more than 100 contractors during the spring and fall outage seasons. DVP creates other jobs in the community, including full-time jobs related to the recovery and delivery of biomass. Estimates indicate that biomass power plants generate 10 times as many jobs as a comparably sized conventional natural gas power plant.

DVP utilizes two combustion engineering circulating fluidized bed boilers and one steam turbine generator set to generate between 350,000 and 375,000 MWh annually, which is used to power the local area. The plant boilers are equipped with cyclones and two baghouses for particulate control, ammonia injection for NOx control, limestone injection for sulfur dioxide control and hydrated lime for HCl and sulfur dioxide control. DVP operates under a Title V Permit and is compliant with all Federal, State, and Regional regulations. The plant is also a qualified in-state base load renewable resource (CEC# 60692A) that has been consistently providing renewable energy since the early 1990s.
