No, we will always support it. We're currently doing a redesign and
what I discovered was that json api is kinda messed up. Sometimes it
even returns xml :(.
We're fixing all of this in the redesign but some of the error
messages will be changing from arrays to hashes.
The redesign should launch in a couple of months. Let's work together
so we'll try to fix problems you find now, although I do think some
work will be required when we launch the redesign.
Changes include: different structure for errors, response codes
changing (they are different in rails 3) (from 200 to 201 or 204),
empty response (just the code) when updates, creates, destroys are
successful (empty because you already have the data).
None of this is set in stone yet. What are your thoughts?
