The docs state the q parameter can be used for "The query to use in
search". I don't see an example on how to use it. I did find an old
post on this forum from last year stating it was removed, but was
going to be added back in. Can you confirm that it is added back in,
or when it will be added?

Its difficult to fully use the API to do things like syncing with
other systems, if we can't query for things to test if certain objects
already exist. For example, if I want to sync an invoice with another
system, I would like to query on reference_name_number to check if
that invoice number is already in the system to determine if it should
be updated, or created.

FYI, I did try it with something like:

https://<subdomain>.lessaccounting.com/contacts.json?q=id%3D99999

and it doesn't work.

We haven't added querying back in. I'm not sure what the current plan
for that is. Querying doesn't necessarily solve your problem, what if
the query returns two results? The best thing to do is keep a mapping
of id to id from one system to another.
