Hier, cela faisait déjà 9 mois que nous embarquions dans l’avion direction Mendoza pour commencer notre volontariat en Amérique Latine avec le PMSS (programme mercosur social et solidaire). Aujourd’hui, nous voici au Brésil à Campina Grande dans l’état du Paraíba dans le Nordeste. Pour vous situer, vous prenez la pointe la plus à l’est du pays et vous faites environ 100km vers l’ouest dans les terres.
Après avoir profiter de la présence de Nico (Fafa pour les intimes) à São Paolo pour lui faire un coucou et découvrir la ville par la même occasion, nous avons débarqué dans notre nouveau chez nous en pleine ambiance pré-coupe du monde et également pour la St Jean, qui se fête pendant un mois dans la région (coooool). Loin du Brésil des cartes postales, nous sommes dans une ville de 400 000 habitant, pas spécialement joli, et assez populaire d’un point de vue urbain et rural, Campina Grande est encerclé de terres agricoles. C’est avec CENTRAC, ONG brésilienne du PMSS, qui nous découvrons ces différentes réalités d’un pays où les inégalités sont à leur paroxysme (je vous laisse imaginer la différence entre São Paolo et Campina Grande), bref c’est passionnant. Et le tout dans la bonne ambiance et la bonne humeur. Pour résumer, tout va bien !

Ayer, festejamos 9 meses de pasantía en América Latina. Desde Mendoza, pasamos por Santiago de Chile, por Uruguay en Montevideo y Paysandú, por Asunción en Paraguay y ahora estamos en Campina Grande en el Nordeste de Brasil.
Después una escala por San Pablo para visitar un amigo francés que estudia allí, y aprovechar para conocer este cuidad « de loco », llegamos en Campina Grande por las fiestas de la San Juan y por la Copa del Mundo. Lejos del Brasil de Copacabana, estamos descubriendo la realidad del Paraíba con CENTRAC, OGN brasileña del PMSS.

Olá Pascal e Lucille,
Ficaram muito legais os vídeos.
Uma boa visão de nosso Brasil profundo, para além das metrópoles do eixo Rio/São Paulo.
Também uma visão do Cooperativismo uruguaio que se apresenta bastante organizado, tendo muito a nos ensinar.
Do Paraguai o comentário é que existe uma proximidade muito grande com as feiras agroecológicas que realizamos aqui em Campina Grande e seu entorno.
Esses "olhares" nos indicam que nuestra América Latina é diversa e também única.
