We need your help with information!

Dear farmers, community gardeners and food growers in New York City,

New York City Soil & Water Conservation District is conducting a survey of people and organizations that grow food (both commercial and non-commercial)  in New York City. The survey assesses natural resources concerns regarding urban agriculture in New York City.

The survey will inform the development of an Agricultural Environmental Management (AEM) Strategic Plan which will prioritize natural resources management on farms and community gardens (both commercial and non-commercial) in New York City. The strategic plan is the first step in seeking funding and technical assistance from New York State. Traditionally food growers in New York City have not participated in state grants for agriculture and we are working to change that.

Information you share in this survey is strictly confidential but will be included in the strategic plan anonymously without attribution to you or your operation. Please share this survey with other farmers and community gardeners.

Thank you for your participation!

La versión en español de la encuesta estará disponible la próxima semana.
