Hello all,

Elizabeth Street Garden needs our help. Please take a minute (really that is all it takes) to send a letter to the Mayor. Forward the email to your networks and ask your friends to do the same.

Thanks,

Magali

URGENT!
Send A Letter To The Mayor

Send a pre-written letter to Mayor Eric Adams and NYC Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) demanding they stop the eviction and work with the community to save Elizabeth Street Garden!

It's been one day since we launched the letter-writing campaign and over 30,000 letters have already been sent to Mayor Adams and his administration!

SEND A LETTER!

The City is moving forward with their attempt to evict and destroy the garden. Our legal team is working hard in court and we are doing everything we can to achieve a solution that saves the garden and gets much-needed affordable housing at existing alternative sites within our Community Board and Council districts.

Community green space and affordable housing should never come at the expense of one another!

ESG Goes To Albany

Yesterday we spent the day in Albany supporting our legal team at the Court of Appeals hearing. Norman Siegel argued the case before 6 judges while ESG volunteers filled the spectator seats.

Our case to save Elizabeth Street Garden represents a greater effort to uphold environmental review at a City and State level for all open green spaces.

We'd like to take a moment to thank our entire legal team for doing everything they can to protect and preserve the garden for our community.
