I am pleased to inform you about the upcoming international conference, "Voices in the Machine: Building Inclusive AI through Scientific Foundations and Linguistic Diversity," which will be held at the Palais des Congrès in Fez, Morocco, from June 22 to 24, 2026 : ai-diversity.org

This event is organized by the Maghreb Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Alumni, with the support of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation itself, and in collaboration with Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University (USMBA).

I would be very grateful if you could share this announcement with interested researchers, PhD students, and research teams within UM6P.

The conference includes 4 technical sessions:

1. Minority Languages and AI: Building Datasets for a Multilingual Future
2. Foundations of Intelligence: Mathematics, Physics, and the Architecture of AI
3. AI in the Natural Sciences: Data-Driven Insights Across Biology, Chemistry, and Ecology
4. AI, Inequality, and Futures of Learning: Ethics, Culture, and Capacity Building

A crucial component of this edition will be a special session dedicated to presenting funding programs and career and research opportunities offered by major German institutions.

The deadline for abstract submission is set for December 12th.
