List out the top 10 search engine in the world. Briefly explain each
of the engine search.

1) Google
Massively popular search engine allows users to search for anyone and
anything on the web. You can also do image and group searches, shop
the economical way through Froogle, or search through the Google
directory for popular web topics organized into categories

2) MSN
Microsoft Network allows you to search the web in its entirety.
There"s a full range of other services offered as well, such as news,
an encyclopedia, shopping, a list of popular web searches, Hotmail,
and a career center for finding jobs and posting resumes.

3) Yahoo! Search
In addition to being one of the famous search engines on the web,
Yahoo! also offers free email, shopping, resources for small business
owners, entertainment and world news, and a giant directory of
commonly accessed web topics.

4) AOL Search
AOL is one of the world's leading online content providers, serving
more than 100 million users with a vast portal of news, sports, and
information. Its advertising-supported content also includes games,
music, and video, as well as e-mail, AIM instant messaging, and other
interactive services.

5) AltaVista
Find what you're looking for on the web in different languages, or
limit your results by country of origin. Search engine also offers MP3/
Audio and video finders, editor-reviewed web sites broken down into
categories, and access to the Yellow Pages.

6) Ask Jeeves
Butler service from a search engine! You can conduct web searches by
keyword or question, or do an advanced search for something very
specific. Jeeves also offers a picture search option, world news,
shopping by merchandise category, and an educational web section
devoted to kids.

7) Overture
Overture is easy-to-use notation software that's powerful enough to
satisfy the needs of today's professional musicians and composers.

8) Lycos Network Search/Directories
Lycos is a search engine and web portal with broadband entertainment
content.

9) Nescape Search
When you use Netscape search engine, you can search less and discover
more. The new Netscape Search delivers comprehensive web results from
Google
along with One Click access to relevant videos, pictures, local maps,
news, stock quotes, and more.

10) AlltheWeb
Search tool owned by Yahoo and using its database, but presenting
results differently. Also offers news, picture, video, and audio
search.
