Five of us (5!) left Marion at 7am. Miles, Bill, Bill, Kevin, and
Ben. It was a beautiful January day - warm with a little wind. We
had a head wind to Duquoin, but had a nice, easy ride back (except for
the hills between Thompsonville and Marion). Everyone finished well
within the time limit. I bought Miles a hot chocolate to repay his
generosity from last Sunday, but I got cold while I was waiting, so I
just drank it myself. It was the thought that counts.

Ben,
What do you mean we only had a "little wind?" To me it felt like a gale force wind, but I guess it depends what you're used to. I'm used to hills, you're used to winds - it all averaged out. Miles: great ride!
Thanks,
Bill (the one from Kentucky)
