If any of the membership who are not riding the 300 Km on 3/10, (or those who have attended our events in the past who are not riding the 300 Km on 3/10), are willing to staff a control from about 09:00 - 15:00, please let me know.  We use the Cedar Lake Campground as a control on both the outbound and return trips.  It is at 60 miles and 127 miles.  I have a canopy and table (with chairs), I can pay your gas mileage, and you will be a big help to our effort to promote randonneuring in our area.  Last year, I was the only one who rode the event, and I had to "find" the proprietor on both stops, using up valuable minutes.  I don't want other riders to have to do that.  Please respond soon if you can help.  I can move the control or make it an info control, but it's on a long stretch with no services, and a staffed control would be nice.

Go Big or Go Home.

Miles,
I am willing to staff the Cedar Lake Campground control for the 300 Km brevet. Just let me know what I'll need to do and if I need to bring anything.
I've been following Cycling with Henri and sounds like you have had a good winter. Things have been good on this end as well.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Lee

Thanks, Lee.
I'll email you details in a couple of weeks.  Just mark the date on your calendar.  I'll pay for the gas for you to drive down and back.  You may want to bring your wife.  The Tunnel Hill Bike trail is only a couple (or so) miles from there, and you could get in a ride before or after.

Go Big or Go Home.

Hello Miles,
I've already got the weekend marked on my calendar!
I reviewed the January financial report you sent out and I would not be much of a Little Egypt Randonneur or friend to you if I accepted money for coming down to volunteer my help for the club so forget about that.
My wife has plans for March 10th so I'll be coming down alone. Depending on the weather, (you already know I'm a fair weather rider) I might try to ride down on Friday spend the night, work the Brevet Saturday, spend the night and ride back home Sunday. It's only about 75 miles and I've been wanting to get my touring bike out for a ride with tent and sleeping bag packed. This looks to be the perfect opportunity.
I'll be looking for the details from you and rest easy about the Cedar Lake Campground control. I've got it covered.
