FYI, for those who need to spend the night prior to the upcoming Taylorville-Keyesport 200k I would suggest 29 West Motel.  This is just down the street from our start at the Bp Gas Station on Springfield Rd. Primarily because I know "Nick" the manager.  He has agreed to grant a discount in room rates for the event.  In correspondence Nick says to mention my name (Grover from the YMCA)  This has worked in the past for a rider from Chicago doing my permanent.  Nick didn't say how much a break but some is better than none.  The rider told me the rate was low enough that he spent another night after the ride.

 

BTW my Mt. Pulaski populaire is now in the data base.  Thanks for your assistance.  Sorry I can't help you with the upcoming 300k.  Grover
