Processesare taught as a means of visual expression and exploration. Edition and production skills are addressed by means of various print exchange portfolios throughout the year. Contemporary printmaking straddles the worlds of serial reproduction for mass distribution, unique art objects, and gallery and site-specific installation work. Students are encouraged to explore all these aspects as they develop a personalized practice and body of work.
Papermaking courses explore the possibilities of pulp as a dynamic and versatile material that can be used two and three dimensionally as well as made from a variety of materials such as plant fibers, old clothing, or recycled papers. Incorporating papermaking with sculpture, painting, photography, bookmaking, and printmaking can expand and personalize more traditional uses of these mediums.
PRT 0103 - Introduction to Print
This course provides experience with a wide range of print techniques and investigates the potential they offer as students expand their artwork.
PRT 0161 - Papermaking: Sustainability
Using locally sourced plant materials, both indigenous and invasive as well as recycled paper, fabric and vegetables, students will make a portfolio of papers with accompanying information on plant names, source materials, and processing methods.
I've set the paper size to A3+ in the page setup window of Lightroom, and set A3+ in the control panel of my Pro 1000. I click on "Print," the paper shoots out blank, and the error message above appears in the control panel window. I've checked and rechecked, turned the printer off and on again, but no cigar.
I understand when you are attempting to print 13x19 (A3+) paper you are receiving an error message, "The paper widths do not match," although the paper widths are set correctly. To troubleshoot this issue adjust and set the media settings on the printer to a different type and size, turn the printer off for approximately one minute. Turn the unit back on and adjust and set the media type and size back to what you are planning to print and print your planned image.
I have a similar problem. I am trying to print on 11x14 paper, but since that does not exist in the driver, I use A3 instead. Then set it to ignore paper width setting, but whatever I do it still gives me the paper width do not match error.
YES!! I also cannot believe that there is not an easy way to export just the questions and answer choices to Word or a Google Doc to folks who need to see them, but not on Typeform...looks like I am not the only one to feel that way.
Adding a +1 to this functionality @Liz. Qualtrics has the ability to export just the survey instrument (with all questions, answer choices, logic, etc.) into a word doc or PDF and it has been invaluable for us in our survey design process. IRB typically requires you submit an export of the questionnaire - not a google or word doc - to ensure that they are vetting what has actually been built out in a survey platform for distribution.
I agree with the general wish here that there must be a way to convert the online questionnaire into a Word document or PDF. I still have so many older people here who are reluctant to take part in an online survey. We are excluding a large group here!
Can't you put this question back on your agenda?
Then as other have said you inevitably end up making edits on the actual typeform and being able to export would also help avoid version control issues. Once received back the paper responses would be input onto the typeform to consolidate the digital and paper results into one place, therefore it really helps to ensure wording is an exact match.
Once your paper is dry, there are so many things you can do with it. Frame them and make a gallery of nature art. Fold the paper and turn them into greeting or thank you cards. Use the paper as wrapping paper for small gifts and items. Cover a box with the paper and use it to keep small treasures safe. The possibilities are endless!
Most common error message (on the printer screen) is "printer jam in print paper path - open door & clear jam", but occasionally the message is to "open the rear door" or similar. There are no paper jams however, trust me I've spent hours on this.
It sounds like a paper path sensor arm/flag has become dislodged or broken. This can happen if the jammed paper was pulled in the reverse direction than it normally goes. It could also be a sensor gone bad. Unfortunately It is difficult to say where to look or which sensor is the problem without taking the printer apart. I don't think a reset of the printer will change anything.
When responding to an answer it is best to add a comment under the answer you are responding to. In your post here, the person who you are responding to never receives a notification and has no idea you responded unless they specifically view the question again or you specifically mention their name as I did yours here (i.e. @RGB-es ) .
However, a final issue remains. When you print, you need to select a supported paper size (usually bigger than the custom size). Depending on the driver, the custom may be centrered in the physical page or flushed to some edge. This is important to feed correctly your custom sheet into the printer.

I have a pretty cheap printer, but I can adjust it's quality by changing the paper type used. When I print from any other program besides Ai, I have the option to set the paper type from plain to photopaper, which produces a much higher quality print.
I've been using a template in Ai for labels, and when I save the the file to PDF, then print from Acrobat, it doesn't print correctly on my labels. They are pretty off centered. When printing straight from Ai, they are perfectcly centered.
When you are printing from Acrobat, make sure that you have selected "Actual Size" when you print, otherwise your print will be reduced to fit inside the PRINTABLE area of a Standard Plain Letter size paper. For your printer the margins are probably not equal on each side (common for many inkjets), causing it also to appear off center. You can see this in the preview on the Print dialog box, and the size it will be reduced. When you select "Actual size", the preview will still show you the margins, but your inage is no longer reduced and will fit the page as expected.
However, when you print with Photo Paper, using the borderless option, the margins are assumed to be "0", so even if you've accidentally checked "Fit" instead of "Actual size", your print will be 100% centered. I suspect this is what you are experiencing.
As far as Illustrator, you just need to click into the "Setup" at bottom left of the print dialog (ignore the warning and continue) to open your Printer settings > Click Preferences to access paper size and print quality, etc.
Hi. I was thinking it was in setup as well, but I get this pop up everytime I click on "setup". The only option I have is to return to the Ai print dialog box. I don't get any of the options you show in you example.
While trying to print a screenshot on my Epson printer via Air Print I was only given the option to print on premium glossy photo paper. I don't use this paper which caused my printer to present an error that essentially said the paper type was unavailable, please insert paper. My iOS is 16.3 and I tried this with an 11 Pro as well. Will there be any updates to allow the user to select their preferred paper type? If I email the screenshot to my MacBook I can print on regular paper without issue so this is a problem with iOS/Air Print not my printer. Thanks!
By default, an iPhone screenshot is saved as a .png (portable network graphics format) file, and is treated like a photograph (.jpg) by AirPrint. So AirPrint suggests photo paper to print images, including screenshots and photos.
Both AirPrint for my Canon printer and the Canon PRINT app offer the opportunity to select the both the media type (including plain paper) and the paper size, as displayed in the AirPrint screen capture below, for each print job. You might have to scroll down to see all the AirPrint options available.
I'm not sure that this is a limitation of AirPrint, but how AirPrint has been implemented on this particular Epson printer. For example, have you tried using AirPrint with another printer to verify what you are seeing with your Epson printer is not unique?
I have tried the print to other printers. I get different options but there are still limited. If I'm trying to print a PDF I get plain paper, which is fine. If I'm trying to print a screenshot I only have the option of premium paper stock. I have plain paper in the printer which causes a conflict on the printer side. The iPhone is saying to use a specific paper and the printer is saying it doesn't have that paper. The Epson wants glass photo paper to be loaded to complete the print job because that's what the iPhone requested and the iPhone is limiting the options of what it will request.
