While trying to guess which episode 100 gold coins were on Pianta Village (which might be the least fun I've had with a videogame in years), I found myself sliding down the tree trunk. I usually just consider it a lost cause, but I was especially frustrated so I spastically jumped and twisted. Amazingly the usual "fall" didn't happen. I was somehow able to slide and jump all the way to the bottom to an invisible black platform at the bottom of the level.
As you'll see in the video, you can look up at the underside of the village which has to be a good 1/2 mile away. You can also look outside the borders and see Pinna Park from semi-underneath. And the coolest thing is, you can't fall off. It's a boxed-in invisible mess of Mario fun.
Let me finally add that it could take you one try or thirty to recreate this glitch. It's not easy. The first mushroom I slide down in the video, you actually want to land on - and then try jumping towards the root and butt-stomping before the "fall" takes over. Also, if you're trying it on a level with your waterpack - DON'T USE IT. It's like an automatic "fall" inducer. You gotta do it old school...
Hence, I am always impressed when I come across cases where I see Linux being ported over to platforms that don't support it natively. Take, for example, the Asahi Linux project, they have managed to bring a very usable Linux experience to Apple's Mac devices.
Introduced under their L4T (Linux for Tegra) image lineup, this Ubuntu Noble build can run on all Nintendo Switch versions, with varying degrees of workarounds that are a prerequisite for switchroot to function properly.
Currently, the developers have only provided two variants, one is Kubuntu, and the other is a Unity desktop variant. The GNOME Shell variant is in the works too, but a few issues have been holding it back.
If you were to compare it with the previous Ubuntu 18.04 build, the Ubuntu Noble build lacks hardware encode/decode in GStreamer-based players, and only works on FFmpeg ones. Moreover, there's no CUDA compiler support, but it features the CUDA runtime 10.0.
You see, they are known to be a vicious bunch when it comes to exercising their IP rights. So far, switchroot doesn't seem to have come into their litigating gaze, and I hope it remains that way.

The file SafeB9SInstaller.bin is missing or misplaced. Download the latest release of SafeB9SInstaller, extract it, and place SafeB9SInstaller.bin on the root of your SD card. Do not add the .bin extension if you do not already see it.
You are missing boot9strap.firm and boot9strap.firm.sha from the boot9strap folder, or the boot9strap folder is misnamed. Download the latest release of boot9strap, and place boot9strap.firm and boot9strap.firm.sha in the boot9strap folder.
You have the wrong Soundhax file for your console and region, or your console is incompatible with Soundhax. In the latter case, your course of action will determine on what version your 3DS is currently on. Join Nintendo Homebrew on Discord for assistance.
Back up your data and reformat your SD card as FAT32 with the recommended tool depending on your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux). MiniTool Partition Wizard and the HP formatting tool (HPUSBDisk) are known to cause issues with 3DS SD cards.
Now, put your SD card into your 3DS and turn it on. If your data is still there, you deleted the right folder and have now determined your correct ID1. If everything has disappeared, go back into the backup folder that you made earlier and try the other folder.

The file finalize.romfs was placed in the wrong location instead of root of SD. The script will attempt to resolve this, but requires your permission to do so. Press (A) on the next few prompts to continue.
You can get a new boot.firm file by downloading the latest release of Luma3DS, extracting it, and placing boot.firm on the root of your SD card. If your boot.firm file is consistently being detected as corrupted, you may want to check your SD card for errors (Windows, Linux, or macOS). Also, note that the 3DS tends to have issues with files extracted using WinRAR.
Your Luma3DS version is outdated. Download the latest release of Luma3DS and place boot.firm on the root of your SD card, replacing any existing file. Make sure you are extracting the ZIP file with any tool other than WinRAR, as it is known to cause issues with 3DS-related files.
Your console is likely hard-bricked. You will need to buy an ntrboot flashcart to reinstall boot9strap in order to attempt to fix your console. This may also indicate a hardware issue that cannot be fixed. In any case, join Nintendo Homebrew on Discord for assistance. + It is also possible that someone has set a boot-time splash screen that just looks like a brick. Try leaving your console powered on, waiting on the blue screen, for five minutes.
If you are missing the Homebrew Launcher application from your HOME Menu, you can follow these instructions to manually enter the Homebrew Launcher. (You will need boot.3dsx and boot.firm on the root of your SD card.)
Teda priznam sa, ze clanok ma trocha sklamal. Cital som ho cely v domneni, ze pride nejaky hacking vo forme HW alebo SW uprav, ako je na root-e bezne, ale zatial som sa len docital, ze autor ma rad Nintendo a ze dana konzola sice nie je spickova, ale jemu vyhovuje...
Ale zase na druhu stranu sa to necitalo uplne zle, takze pohoda. Len som cakal nieco trocha ineho ;-)
Tohle je čst o hardware, bude i software. A hacking je poměrně problematick, na Nintendo Wii to šlo poměrně dobře, Switch postoupil na vyšš level a hacking současn verze nen možn. Podrobnosti v dalšm dle.
Snažil sa tm IMHO povedať že prvorad nie s ani technick paramtere, ani grafika ale hrateľnosť, atmosfra a možno optimalizcie. Načo mi bude PSX keď vačšina kvalitnch titulov z PSX s aj na PC a na PSX či Xboxe bud akurt v horšej grafike? Zato hry z nintenda si povačšine na PC nezahrm.
Pravda je ta , že jde v rmci (nejen Českho) internetu o nadprůměrnou recenz a seznmen s konzol ...
Na poměry člověka thle konzole neznalho zcela určitě .
Pro ns ostatn Homebrew je to kvůli čemu m smysl PSP , Wii ,Vita a ....čert v zdali bude mt i Switch.
Bez možnosti použt HW naplno jde o hodně drahou zbavu s poněkud dětinskm zaměřenm ....a to je vlastně důvod proč dvm ruce pryč .Online persistence nen nic co bych ždal ....
Aspoň ta online perzistence na Switchi nen zas až tak nutn. Spousta her je na kartch, ty ze storu s možnost sťovho multiplayeru maj překvapivě často možnost hry po LAN. U her ze storu je nutnost bt online kvůli ověřen DRM jen v přpadě druhho zařzen, primrn potřebuje bt online jen v době instalace. (pochopitelně nepočtm čistě online hry jako Warframe)
Zeldu: Breath of the Wild hraju teď a ač mě asijsk hry fakt bav, zrovna tady nevidm proč by to nemělo oslovit i člověka, kter m raději žnry populrnějš na zpadě. Přijde mi to hratelnost jako mix Zaklnače a Dark Souls.

Protože tu tak nejede Karaoke nebo stupidn cosplaye? Nikdo neřk že tu nebudou přznivci. Ale vc lid bude zajmat DungeonMaster než FinalFantasy. Protže každho nezajmaj pokemoni ani jin deamoni a ukecan avataři. Ani estetika nedospělch holčiček s kulatma a šikmma očima. Řk se tomu jin kultůra.
Pokud někdo m zjem o retro a indie jsou tu emultory.
Jedna z největšch vhod a přčin spěchu Switche je praktičnost. D se s tm hrt po cestě do prce, z prce a večer to strčit do docku a pokračovat na monitoru. Dlouhodobě mm problm dohrt jakoukoliv hru, protože na to prostě doma nen čas. S handheld konzol si ho dovedu najt.
