Since we have to help us, to make Leonardo known and to get support,
I'll start.

I am 53 years old, come from Germany and work today in Java Software
testing.
In another life I've built and design furniture. I can help translate,
in testing, in usability, in documentation and technical description,
but my background is more technical, not artistically.

Who knows or is a graphic designer or similar and we don't know that?
We need such people.

Please make a short presentation of you.

I'm a Java developer living in Tokyo. I've been programming professionally for the past 13 years. I started with scripting languages, building large-ish websites. I did some ecommerce work, gradually moving from the front end to the server side. I had a fun job recently working on financial trading systems, but that didn't pan out, and let's just say that I'm a little under utilized at work at the moment.

So recently I've trying to learn client-side app programming-- and do a bit of Android stuff.

I have no graphic design skills ;)

I do speak some Japanese, and maybe will contribute a translation--but to be honest, I'm here to itch a coding bug.

I'm Josh Marinacci, 35, author, programmer, and evangelist. I am currently a Developer Advocate for webOS at Palm/HP. I spent 5 years at Sun working on Swing, JavaFX, the JavaStore, and the NetBeans GUI builder. Before that I co-wrote Swing Hacks and have spent most of my professional life in the Java world. I joined Palm last winter to get involved in mobility and learn more things outside of the Java world, but I still care deeply about desktop Java, as Leonardo shows.

I work remotely from Eugene, Oregon, where I live with my wife, two cats, and soon to be baby (due in May). I am not a designer but I care about design and usability. I doodle with drawing, sketching, and DSLR photography.

I'm Davor Hrg, 30, programmer, with 10 years of working experience  behind me.

Work related, Java was my first language, and stays constant throughout the years.
In parallel I'm also working with php+mysql+html+css ... it all depends from project
to project. php is still my first choice for websites and smaller web apps, and Java
for server side (except web) and desktop.

I like all sorts of creative work, some doodling and basic design, and even some furniture design and assembly :). Believe it or not :), Openoffice Draw is currently my free vector drawing program of choice.

I work and live in Zagreb, Croatia.

I am a Software Engineer living in the Netherlands. I am 35 and I am married and have two daughters. I started programming when I was 8. I have done every dialect of BASIC before turning to Pascal. Studied Computer Science in Amsterdam and learned C/C++ and ASM. Started working and learned Java and C#. I also program Javascript. I mostly create web and backend applications.

I love music, photography and cooking (and eating!).

See my full profile on linkedin if you really need to know more :D.
