ComedyNights Bachao (English: Comedy Nights, Help!) is an Indian Hindi-language comedy television series which premiered on 5 September 2015.[2] The series used to air on Sunday nights on Colors TV. The series was a reality show with a format similar to Comedy Circus. It had many of the same production team members[3] and was produced by Optimystix Entertainment. The presenters of this show were Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, Bharti Singh Mubeen and Mona Singh.

Comedy Nights Bachao that premiered last year in September is finally taking a break after a year of continuous run. The show helmed by comedians like Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, Sudesh Lehri and Shakeel instantly became popular among the masses but at the same time invited criticsm for the numerous controversies it created (racist comments et al).

But the fact that the show successfully introduced a new format of comedy--roast to Indian audience deserves a round of applause. As the makers plan a new season of the comedy show, here's looking at the five of the most memorable episodes of Comedy Nights Bachao.

1. When Nawazuddin Siddiqui outwitted Bharti Singh and showed off his hidden comic side

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who comes across as a recluse, surprised everyone with his comic timing in one of the recent episodes of Comedy Nights Bachao. The actor's entertaining replies to Krushna and Bharti's jibes made the roast super-interesting. So much so that even Bharti was seen struggling for an apt response to one of his questions. Full marks to this one.

When Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra came in to promote Kapoor & Sons, Alia didn't forget to cash in on her reputation. Remember the Koffee with Karan goof-up and the subsequent Genius of the year spoof? Well, the actress has been pulling her own leg since then. When Bharti commented on her yellow dress saying that she'd probably spilled mango on it; pat came the reply--'what are you saying? Mango is orange dude, not yellow'. Then there were jokes on the her like--director ne bola--lights, camera, action. Alia khadi rahi. Boli lights camera ko action bola hai, mujhe nahi.

Shah Rukh Khan, who's known for his flawless comic timing, roasted everyone with a straight face in this episode. He started off criticising himself for his acting, but ended up roasting everyone in the Comedy Nights Bachao team beautifully. From referring Shakeel to a bhikhari with a katora, reminding Sudesh of his actual aukat, to predicting Krushna's future (that he will end up as nobody), SRK did a superb job, truly like a baadshah.

If there is anybody other than Shah Rukh Khan who can roast the entire team of Comedy Nights Bachao, it is Farah Khan. The Main Hoon Naa director did the best of roast, with her special tadka.

Sudesh Lahiri along with Krushna Abhishek and Adaa Khan introduced themselves on the show with Sudesh being a Hindi TV serial producer and Adaa Khan, an aspiring Bahu. Krushna Abhishek will be seen taking veteran actress Usha Nadkarni's case.

The stars of 'Main Aur Charles' join the Comedy Nights stage. The comic crusaders serves the memorable burns to them in form of their hilarious acts. After that cast of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 joins the party.

Shah Rukh Khan along with 'Dilwale' co-stars Varun Dhavan, Kriti Sanon and Varun Sharma comes to the sets of Comedy Nights. The hilarious comic acts by comedians and interactions with guests leave the audience in splits.

The gag starts right from Krishna and Bharti welcoming the audiences. Saroj Khan is the special guest for the day followed by the veteran actors, Juhi Chawla and Divya Dutta who have come to promote their upcoming film 'Chalkduster'.

Bharti and Krushna welcome Ajaz, Rahul, Sana and KRK on the show. The comedians crack uproariously funny jokes about the guests and its a riot of laughter through the night. All the comedians perform acts and enthrall the viewers.

Krishna and Bharti begin the proceedings by interrupting Sonam Kapoor's shoot. Manish Paul, Sikandar Kher and Riya Sen, the stars of Tere Bin Laden: Dead or Alive, have a ball with the hosts and later on the show welcomes a rather notorious figure.

The comedy nights invites the super dancer Remo D'souza and his colleges Raghav and Dharmesh. Remo D'Souza talks about his experince with Akshay Kumar in his first flim as an director and a performing artist.

A Comedy Nights Bachao special episode featuring Upen Patel, Karishma Tanna, Abhijeet Bhattacharya and Rajpal Yadav as guests. The comedy marathon continues with acts from all the contestants who take a dig at the celebrities.

Alia, Siddharth and Fawad spend a memorable evening filled with laughter, fun and enthusiasm. They watch the trailer of 'Kapoor and Sons' dubbed in Mubeen's voice. Later, all of them perform to the songs from 'Kapoor and Sons'.

Neha Dhupia, Karan Kundra, Rannvijay Singh and Prince Narula are the special guests for tonight's show, and Krishna and Bharti waste no time welcoming them. Later, Krishna and Sudesh end the show with a rip-roaring performance.

Bollywood hunk John Abraham is joined by his "Rocky Handsome" co-stars Sharad Kelkar and Nora Fatehi in this episode of CNB. Nora enthralls with her seductive moves and laughter ripples through the room as John gives Bharti a few fitness tips.

Krishna and Bharti begin the show by inviting the contestants of Box Cricket League. Later, the unabashed team of Comedy Nights Bachao has the viewers in splits with their hilarious assault on each competitor.

Bharti and Krishna are privileged to have Shah Rukh Khan on this episode, but that does not mean he is spared the royal treatment. Watch Shakeel as he tries to pull off some SRK moves. Also, a special fan-made video wins everyone's hearts.

It's all about stardom when the guest is SRK, one who can get into the skin of both a star and his neurotic fan with equal panache. Boman Irani, Neha Dhupia, Vir Das and Manoj Bajpayee arrive later and participate in Krishna and Bharti's hilarious acts.

When two of your favourite comedy shows come together, it's entertainment guaranteed! Get ready for the hilarious combination of the Comedy Nights Live team and the Bachao Brigade. Hopping aboard the comedy bandwagon in this special episode are Sonakshi Sinha, Yo Yo Honey Singh and other TV celebrities.

Krushna and Bharti welcome special guest, Mallika Sherawat in their own hilariously quirky way on to the show. Karan and Mallika dance to one of Mallika's hit songs. The laugh riot continues when Krushna and Bharti put their twist on the same song.

Ravi Kishan, Khesari Lal, Nirahua and Manoj Tivari are today's guests who sing, dance and roast each other with great vigor. This is followed by Krushna and Bharti's shenanigans and a comedy skit performed by Shakeel, Shruti and Pooja.

For the first time in Indian television, Ram Gopal Varma comes to Comedy Nights to promote his new film, Veerappan. Later, Kumar Sanu, Mandira Bedi, Ankit Tiwari and Sonal Chauhan have a blast, but Ankit gets annoyed with Bharti and Karan's sketch.

Guests Abhishek Bachchan, Ritesh Deshmukh and Chunky Pandey arrive on the show. Bharti and Krushna entertain everyone with a series of performances with one inspired by Chunky and a comic dubbing of movie scenes featuring voices of all the guests.

It's a dance and comedy galore as the contestants of this season's 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' arrive on the show and join the fun. The contestants give a small 'Jhalak' of their hotness quotient to the Bachao gang while being 'roasted' to a crisp by them.

Its couples bonanza on Comedy nights Bachao as the hit on-screen jodi from 'Swaragini', Tejaswi Prakash and Namish Taneja appear on the show along with newlyweds Sambhavna Seth and Avinash Dwivedi.
