I think these tiles are great! I am doing a top down game with a twist and I don't see many pixel artists providing options for an almost perspective top down. I am no artist but I had a go at adding a few tiles to demonstrate what I mean. As you see, external walls have your perspective but internal walls are top down only. Would it be possible for you to consider theses options to existing tileset to enhance them and provide more visual options?

Hello there, love the asset pack. In fact, I am using it in a space shooter that I would like to sell on STEAM. I have a question for you. I am wondering if you are okay with me using your asset packs, in combination with other ones from other developers (whose asset packs are also free for commercial use)? I could not really find any information telling me whether I could or not, so I figured asking is the best policy. Thanks...

in the 2D Pixel Dungeon Asset Pack v2.0. the animation frames are separated as one per file. this feels a bit wierd to use and in some game engines it takes much longer to set it up if the frames of a single animation are in separate files. why not combine each animation in a frameset?

The new version of the pack doesn't have monster animations. What is the point of adding new art of them if you can't use them? Am I missing something? Either way, both the free and paid tilesets look great, and I'll definitely be using them!
Edit: After looking at the pack, it's actually missing a LOT of stuff, and even if I reinstall the pack I'm missing so much content for some reason.

I paid for it, but it's missing files, as I have sprites but no animations other than the idle ones. I have the full tileset and item animations (I think) too. Even the old assets are missing animations and other assets.

You have done a WONDERFUL job with this tileset and it's easy enough to say this is one of my favorite tilesets here on Itch. I love it! And I used it in my first game! Thank you again so much!

DM me if you'd like a copy!

Hello PixelPoem - I want to say THANKS to you for making this awesome Spriteset! I use it for my biggest Game (Louma) and its extreamly nice to add stuff - to adapt the tiles and work with the sprites! It'S realy great. I would love it, if you could waste some time on my Game.

I have got your Dungeons, Overworld and Worldmap by the Humble Bundle Fresh Start Game Dev Assets, is it possible that you can add me to your products on Itch.io so I can download the updated versions? If you want confirmation that I actually have purchased it, then tell me your email address and I can show you there.

Hi! Yes, it's definitely the plan. We decided to release dungeons with support for tiled ahead of time to make sure buyers of the previous editions could start using the collection right away. But this will definitely be formatted for RPG Maker!

Hello! Will this future upgrade to RPG Maker be applied to the current humble bundle listings as well? I want to know if I should plan on buying a second key from here when you update the set. Humble Bundle is not clear on their bundle purchase page if they are selling itch.io keys or just a download, unfortunately.

Hi! Absolutely! The updates will just come in the form of updated files within the existing itch.io products. The Humble Bundle will be providing you with the itch.io keys upon purchase and any future updates for these files, such as RPG Maker compatibilities will be available to download when they're ready. You will not need to purchase another one. We apologize for the confusion and hope this clears things up a little.

EDIT: Actually, I just bought the bundle and itch keys are not included. Instead they offer a download link from humble bundle. So I think you may have to update with them as well to give the bundle owners the update. There does not appear to be a way to connect the humble purchase to itch.io.

(For the record, most of the other assets also come as a single download. It looks to me like only 3 of them come with a key to register on another site/resource. So it seems that the standard for Humble is to offer a downloadable zip directly instead of an itch.io or other site key.)

After some discussion with the organizer, it seems that they are unable to issue the key for some reason. As such, we'll have to ask you to send an email to megat...@gmail.com with a quick proof of purchase (A screen cap of the email received from Humble Bundle or your Humble Bundle page showing the purchased content) and we'll send the key your way. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience!

mbark on a journey into the enchanting realms of my dungeon asset pack, where every prop and tileset is meticulously crafted to seamlessly blend cozy comfort, gritty realism, and irresistible cuteness, allowing you to bring your unique vision of desert adventures to life with unparalleled creativity and immersion.

Originating from the concept of crafting 3D foam dungeons with pixel art, the unique style of these assets extends beyond the realm of action video games. Tailored for versatility, this pack is equally adept at enhancing TTRPGs, Role Playing and other RPG sessions, as well as turn-based games. The distinctive design direction ensures an integration into diverse gaming experiences, adding a touch of creativity and pixelated charm to every venture.

- This pack is designed as one character tall, so it led me to make it as an unusual tileset. Please keep in mind that these tilesets may work different from others. I'm till working on auto tiling and compatibility with different game engines.

There are some stairs and rails tilesets, but while it is designed as a tabletop dungeon, I do not recommend creating overly complex multi-storey rooms.

I have a roadmap for the future but you can make suggestions or request things that in your mind to improve the quality of the asset pack. I'll make a community road map too and add the ideas or requests to that list. Feel free to tell me your ideas.

Hey FlyingSausage,
we absolutely like your dungeon asset pack and want to use it for a game. our game idea would be a puzzle like dungeon game.
Now, to make the game even better i have a small request: Can you add the following items to the pack:

- key,
a switch,
a floor pressure plate?

The switch and the pressure plates need two images (one for activated and one for default). It would be perfect for a puzzle game. Thank you :) and great work with that asset pack so far :)

I was planning to add lever (wall mounted and on the ground), animated key and a floor pressure for the next updates. Now i added the switch to the list. Thanks for the suggestion. You can attach images as reference too.

This is an asset pack for a top down 16x16px dungeon themed tileset.

Along with the tileset we have included an animated hero character, four animated enemy sprites, numerous props, a small 3x6 pixel font bitmap, and some basic UI elements.

We made a quick demo you can play in your browser to preview the assets: Doomridge Dungeon Demo

About the Patreon exclusive content, you need to be a Patreon subscriber to access the extras. As Patron you get new main asset pack releases on Itch at no extra cost + all Patreon exclusive content. I publish exclusive content for the collection on Patreon every month (asset pack add-ons and exclusive creatures). So far there are 76 exclusive creatures, 70 pack add-ons, 33 Icon sets and 8 seasonal asset packs. The dungeon trap add-on is one of the Patreon exclusives, so you have to be a Patreon member in order to get access to it.

There are some outfits for the humanoid characters (human, elf, orc, goblin, halfling and dwarf) available for Patreon supporters. But they are only covering the base animations: idle, walk, attack, dmg and die, and also the spell animations for the wizard outfits. The outfit system is very difficult to handle in an ever-growing open-ended collection like Minifantasy.

The reason is that I often introduce new animations for the 6 humanoid characters in new asset packs (for example, the crafting and professions asset pack include a lot of animations to use the workbenches, the fishing animation, bug catching animation, etc.) To maintain a collection of updated and usable outfits I would need to make new animations for every piece of the already existing outfits to match the newly added animations. It will just add more and more work if I decide to add a new outfit, as there are more and more animations being added.

As I would need to retrospectively update every outfit, it will lead to a point where I spend more time maintaining outfits than making new real content. That's why I decided to stop adding "official" outfits for the playable characters.

Hey once again! I used your character again in another Game Jam entry: -dev.itch.io/tine-3-the-escape (WOWIE 3.0). However, he's the bad guy now :) I have put links to your page in the game description, and the starting screen of the game. Hope this counts as Credit.

Hey again, I just finished another game jam and used your assets again. Its a sequel to the maze one, but this time a tower defence/top down shooter game as the theme was genre mixing. Thanks again for the asset pack! -dev.itch.io/tine-2-zombies-tower-defence
