Yes, we are all impatient :-) However, there are some urgent tasks to attend to first:

- Fix #1307: @first/last invalid in @clean trees.

- Disentangle #1266 and #1272, two issues related to black.

- Finish #1272, and blacken most, but not all, of Leo's sources.

Don't panic: Files in leo/external, leo/extensions, and leo/plugins/pyzo will not be blackened.

@nobeautify will suppress unwanted blackening of files. Like most directives, the @nobeautify directive applies to all descendant nodes, unless overridden by an @beautify directive.

Summary

There will be an extended period of development and testing for pyzo in leo.  First, it's time to handle some urgent business.

It's to reformat code using python's black code formatter.

All complete.  I've put off actually blackening Leo's sources.  That's now #1309

It's time for a rest.  I've been burning the midnight oil.  I'll restart work on pyzo in leo tomorrow.

I'm going to do #852: (active settings outline) first.  I think I can do this in a few hours to a few days.  It's a frequently requested feature.

And then I really will restart work on pyzo in Leo, unless an new, urgent, bug appears. Notice, please, that pyzo in Leo is not likely to be ready for prime time for weeks or months more.  I'll feel free to interrupt that work at any time.
