Leo 6.3 b1 is now available on github: here.

Many thanks to all those who have contributed code, suggestions and encouragement :-)

I shall delay more public announcements of this release until Monday, October 26. Please report any problems immediately.

The highlights of Leo 6.3

- leoAst.py: The unification of Python's token and ast worlds.
- Retired all Qt Dock code.
- Improved viewrendered and viewrendered3 plugins.
- Improved several importer plugins.
- Refactored Leo's key handling code.

Great News! :)

This is great for leoInteg as it will not be required to have a gitted version of Leo switched to the 'devel' branch in order to work properly!

Thanks again!

LeoInteg Update: almost done fixing 'cursor selections', going to fix/redo body-pane pretty soon.  :)

Super. One of the projects I am considering for my sabbatical is doing a "Hello World" vs code plugin. Does this seem worthwhile to you?  Would you recommend anything else?

Hello Edward,

I was checking some of the Pip / PyPI related information available on GitHub - and - found issues, which (I believe) should be fixed before releasing 6.3 final.

* Platform: Windows, Linux, MaxOS <- Minor / typo - Should be MacOS ...
* Download-URL: http://sourceforge.net/projects/leo/files/ <- Should IMO point to GitHub or PyPI. - SF has been last updated for Leo 5.8 ...

Sorry for reporting it like this - and NOT - providing a PR!

With kind regards,

Viktor

Many thanks for spotting these! Fixed in "6.3" and merged into devel.

No problem. Fixing this without a PR was easier than using a PR.
